Upon our arrival at the Coach House, the host made us feel welcomed and assisted with our luggage. He even provided an upgrade to an upstairs room featuring a terrace with a view of the garden and the Franschhoek mountains. The room was clean, orderly, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast was exceptional, and on the day of our departure, when we had to leave early, they thoughtfully provided yoghurt, muesli, fruit, and fruit juice in our fridge for an early meal before our departure. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we highly recommend this establishment for any type of visit to Franschhoek

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I felt safe and welcome. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable.
I would have liked more channels on the TV like DSTV as the room only had Netflix.
I couldnt open the blind on the door (there was a fitting missing), which ment I had to leave the door open for light. But this wasnt the end of the world.

Das Guesthouse hatte eine gute Lage. Es waren Parkplätze vorhanden. Es ist bereits etwas älter hat aber seinen Charme.wir durften direkt morgens einchecken und haben sogar ein Upgrade bekommen.
Das Bett war leider nicht ganz so bequem für uns und es gab leider nicht genügend Steckdosen.

Location was perfect, and the breakfast was fine. See below though
Breakfast was generally good, but could have been more varied, for instance by the addition of boerewors. We thought the absence of DSTV in the rooms made our stay inconvenient, as we then had no option but to huddle together in the lounge. The Coach house might consider making a place available for the odd braai, for evenings when one does not want to or cannot dine out

Nette Gastgeber. Schöner Garten mit Baum als Schattenspender. Pool zur Abkühlung. Gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Nur wenige Gehminuten zum Zentrum von Franschhoek. Sehr gute Restaurants in Laufdistanz.

Saubere, sichere Unterkunft - sehr gepflegt mit Garten und ortsüblichen, kleinen Pool.
Die Lage ist perfekt für Franschhoek - 150 m zur Main street und allen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The room was spacious and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is warm and friendly which made my stay truly delightful. The location's convenience, just a few minutes' walk to town, added to the overall positive experience. Everything about the place was absolutely amazing, creating a memorable and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful time! We only stayed one night, but Jenny and her team might it very pleasant. Everything was great, and the little garden with some sun and shade and a little pool made it a great spot to relax. You can have breakfast inside or outside and it’s a quick 5 minute work to the busier area. Though the room was spacious, we even found some games to pass the evening outside. The reception is closed at night, but rooms are equipped for all you need for take out (plates, cutlery, bottle opener, wine glasses).

Die Wine Tram ist in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar oder innerhalb ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Lage ist perfekt. Beim Frühstück gibt es viel Auswahl und man kann sich auch Eier zubereiten lassen. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer im EG zum Garten hin, wo abends und morgens Gäste saßen. Man hört quasi alles. Uns hat es aber nicht großartig gestört.

Didn't have breakfast as we had to be out early but the packed breakfast that we had was great!
The curtains didn't close properly and although the likelihood of someone looking up from the garden in the cold weather at us changing was minimal, it made us feel uncomfortable enough to change in the bathroom and not the bedroom.

First of all we loved our hosts, David and Jenny. So hospitable and friendly. So welcoming and warm. I was so happy to find out that we were 5 minutes walk from the town centre and the restaurant we had booked at. Our breakfast was NEXT LEVEL...Full breakfast and beautifully presented. One of the highlights of the day. All the staff were helpful, friendly and so warm.
We kept bumping into the shower handle and the water went cold. Cubicle a little small. That and the nozzle aims right into the door ... so when you switch the water on it sprays out into the room first...wetting everything.

We stayed here at the end of touring the garden route. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the high street and the wine tram. Our room was spacious and very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had our own terrace overlooking the beautiful garden and pool. Checking in was easy and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, as were the staff. Breakfast was plentiful and my omelette cooked to perfection. Jenny and David were incredibly helpful when we realised we had a flat tyre on the morning of departure and it was repaired within an hour. Thank you so much for your help David.

Couldn’t have picked a better place to visit the town, do the wine tram and see some of the estates ourselves. The room was super comfortable and the staff and owners incredibly friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay!
