Suitable for one night. Close to airport for a decent price
Kind of worn looking, musty smell in hallways but not in the room. Cruise ships disembark here some days

The Hawes Inn is an adorable Inn right on the firth with great views and the waterfront to enjoy. The restaurant and lobby area were great to hang out in for a drink and dinner. The staff were all engaging and hospitable!
It took a while to get used to the train noise going over the bridge above the Inn but it didn't run overnight so that was good.

Historic inn located literally under Forth railway bridge. Rooms were spacious with separate lounge and modern bathroom. Good restaurant, although a little pricey. Only 600 metres to Railway station to Edinburgh.

Super Zimmer und Badezimmer. Der Lärm von Bahn ist schnell vergessen. Super toll Lage mit sehr viel Möglichkeiten. Bahnhof nach Edinburgh in der Nähe und praktisch. Restaurant mit super Gericht. Frühstück war genial. Super Grandios Blick auf die Brücke. Wanderung auch möglich. Parken war einfach und genug Platz. Personal war allgemeine sehr freundlich. Die kleine Stadt ist einfach wunderschöne .
Für mich war alles sehr 👍 und würde wieder hingehen.

Breakfast was good..location was good
Not being able to have our room until after 3pm. It wasn't mentioned when we booked.also it would be nice to be able to select your room before booking. As th room we were allocated was below ground level !! We were able to change rooms though. If the hotel was fully occupied we would have made alternative plans.

Huge room with an amazing view. The place is really nice inside and outside. Unfortunately we did not try the restaurant but food seemed really nice.

Room 5 bedside and room light switches are not wired correctly, so couldn’t have bedside light on without the full room lights on! Simple wiring change is required to achieve this.

The room was immaculate great decor and furniture and the bed and bedding was brilliant and ensuite the food was first class and the staff were great nothing was to much trouble would definitely recommend it 😊👍

The hotel, (refurbishment since the last time we were there) & definitely the staff they were so helpful & friendly.
There heating system was broken so in some area's of the hotel it was cold but they did supply us with oil filled heaters for our room.

Excellent location tucked in under the Forsyth Bridge and right on the waterfront. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was served fresh daily (chosen from a menu). The room itself was tidy and clean, and despite being by the road, very quiet. I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again for any future visits to Scotland.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The food excellent at diner and breakfast excellent and filling.
Trains started running around 6am which you could hear although they were not too often.

Breakfast choice was limited eg no fruit or cereal. Coffee was poor. Would have preferred a self-service buffet as the wait for food was too long.

We have always loved this gem of a place but even more so now as it recently had a wee makeover. Amazing location, lovely clean, spacious rooms. amazing if you are lucky to get a river view room. love visiting in summer and using the beer garden.

Would benefit with a more wholesome menu . Ie shepheds pie . Sausage and mash lasagne. But the food we had was lovely.
