A beautiful old home in lots of land/forests, perfect for walking the pooch after a long days travelling. Sympathetically furnished and decorated. Large bedroom within the main house but there were other configurations within the grounds. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly

No evening meals available ( not a problem) but you have to drive to find somewhere. Otherwise a fabulous find.

This is a charming property. The main house is a wonderfully well restored domaine / manor house. An excellent example of what is possible for all those who dream of restoring a period property in France. The gite / cottage we rented was delightful, full of charming period details yet well-appointed with all modern conveniences. We particularly liked the fireplace and the supply of dry wood. We lit the fire for atmosphere only – the central heating in all rooms was more than adequate. The staff are very friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable. Parking is large, convenient and secure. It is very accessible if you are towing something such as a boat. In the main house do not miss the painting of Asterix the Gaul meeting Delacroix's Marianne at the barricades.

There was nothing to dislike.

Contacted on the day and given clear road directions as sat nav info was wrong. This made it very easy to find. Although it's behind a large shopping mall the chateau felt very rural with woodland walks, which was ideal for our dog. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again

Picturesque location, quiet, full of character and comfortable

Super building in great location. Apartment was extremely spacious and bedroom and bathroom excellent. Very helpful staff and pool was glorious.

The location was good for walking and a 2 night stop on a road trip. Shops very close by. The cottage we had was very well equiped, particularly the kitchen. Very friendly and helpful host. The whole building and setting is beautiful.

The cottage we had was not of a high standard of cleanliness. There was also considerable humidity/mold on the bathroom ceiling and floor/wall by the shower cubicle, probably accumulated because it was impossible to open the high window so no ventilation. The bedroom also smelt damp. In my opinion this particular cottage needs the damp problem resolving and thorough cleaning and then it would be excellent accomodation for either a short or long stay.

it is an attractive French property. very it is authentic. we had a large apartment with patio area. it has a lovely swim pool and gardens.

We hadn’t realised that the property is situated very close to a main road and to a shopping centre.

Spectacular setting, lovely breakfast, our hosts were lovely.

Breakfast was excellent with good quality pastries and fruit, and the property is lovely. The location was central but secluded and there is plenty of space in the lovely grounds. We have some reservations about the room but we had a good stay overall.

The room we had was light in terms of facilities and quality given the price. We’ve stayed in four properties this summer and we had higher quality in all the other properties for €60-70 a night less.

So near yet so far ….. felt like you were stepping back in time but with all modern comforts. Impeccably maintained by wonderful hosts …. an unexpected and rare find that you will want to return to for a longer stay !

I had to leave very early and reception were most helpful and left me an early breakfast in the dining room and showed me where to access water, milk etc

Nothing really. Comfortable room, friendly reception on arrival. The grounds and location are great. Loevely swimming pool, just didn't have the opportunity to use it.

This is an extraordinary place! As you enter the gorgeous courtyard around which are ranged the main house and its gîtes, you feel like you’re stepping into the Middle Ages, yet the facilities are absolutely 21st century. So is the sense of style apparent in the way the buildings and garden are arranged. The owners are exceptionally accommodating, helpful and friendly, and managed my very late arrival with immense patience. I would have loved to spend more time here. Thank you John and Marc!

There’s nothing not to like!

Easy to locate particularly as there are aide memoirs close to the location. Very friendly and multi lingual which is very helpful. The room was very comfortable and a lovely comfortable large bed. The shower was good with lovely thick fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious, a large carafe of coffee just for me. No jumping up and down to refill a cup. Good jams that tasted homemade. Fresh pastries, yogurt, juice and fruit in plenty. Excellent parking area, plenty of room.
