Excellent accommodation, peaceful, very clean, comfortable, stylish, has everything you need and very friendly hosts. This was our second time here and once again we loved it. Hopefully we will be back again.

Janice was friendly and attentive to any difficulties we had. The pantry and fridge was well stocked for us and a lovely welcome package. The grounds were perfect for our older parents and small kids. We had the best time and would love to return. Cannot fault

Fabulous spacious accommodation, views from bedroom & outdoor seating. Quiet location, beautiful fireplace inside, laundry facilities. Fully equipped kitchen. Dog friendly & fenced. Loved our stay.

Janice & Kim are fantastic hosts, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The location is stunning & the lodge has been beautifully renovated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Manakau Lodge. We arrived on a rainy day and were warmly welcomed by Neil and the open fire in the foyer - was wonderful!
Our room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed - it was lovely and quiet to the surroundings and we were able to relax and enjoy the stunning views! We really liked having access to the kitchen facilities and the tea/coffee station in the dining room.
We loved the location of being out of town and it is only a short drive back into Kaikoura to enjoy a meal or 2 out.
Neil was a wonderful host and we very much appreciated our complimentary tote bag - thank you so much !

The rooms and views are precisely as advertised. The host is a gracious gentleman. We brought some simple foods from the grocery in town and used the lodge kitchen to prepare a light dinner and breakfast. It all felt like home.
