The staff was so friendly. Relaxing environment. The rooms are beautiful and big. Continue making braai fire for guests. This is a great gesture. The rusks and breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast is spectacular. Some ingredients are from the accommodation itself. Very authentic and delicious!

My daughter and I loved it. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Gardens were lovely! Nursery was fascinating. One is not far from town but it feels as though you’re in the countryside. Dinner was delicious and plentiful. Bed was comfortable and cosy.

Lovely accomodation close to some wedding venues in the area which was convenient.

We live on a farm and needed to come to the city. The atmosphere at Random Harvest is homely and restorative and rejuvenating - a healthy environment to combat city stresses, including noise and traffic. The cottage we stayed in was well equipped and comfortable with thoughtful touches, including farm milk in the fridge and homemade rusks and a hot water bottle. The little garden at our cottage is a wildflower delight! The restaurant and nursery is superb. We had a delicious breakfast of haddock with poached free range eggs and oh so fresh spinach fritters. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. We walked around the farm/nursery at sunset and in the morning. Stunning!

I love the rural setting despite it being so close to the city. There is a sense of peace and harmony as soon as one drives onto the property.

The photos of rooms booked on Booking.com was not the same as the rooms we stayed in.

The location was so perfect! It's nice and quiet, which is exactly what I needed. I loved that I could have food delivered to my cottage and the food was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed my time here and the staff was sooo friendly! :)

The room smelled a little musty upon arrival, I'm assuming it was because of the thatch. But nothing open windows and fresh air couldn't fix.

The environment was spectacular. The fresh air from the trees and plants was refreshing. The staff was very helpful and kind.

I would not change anything but suggest not to put decanted milk in the fridges rather be small sealed cartons and non cow milk 🥛 options
