Room had been recently renovated and painted but fairly small compared with other properties we stayed at. . Very handy to have a restaurant on site and the food was good and reasonably priced. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. For those who like swimming the pool area was excellent with bbq facilities and plenty of grassed area to sit in the shade and relax.

Just a bit far out of town and at the top of a fairly steep hill to be "walkable". Also the exit from the property was at the top of a hill with no line of sight for traffic coming over the crest so fairly dangerous. Whatever the cleaning materials used, they left a "chemical" smell that we didn't enjoy. The property advertised Foxtel but during our stay no Foxtel was available which was an annoyance as we're cricket fans and couldn't watch the test.

Everything,great location because there was no traffic noise what so ever.very quiet area and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Room size and in room facilities. suitcase n floor. (Nowhere else) No table / chairs in room. Tea and coffee akings provided but it on bed to drink. Pool area needs updating and pool cleaner defineately sub standard.

there was a microwave but no plates or cutlery for family to have take away food in the family room.

Comfortable and clean where it mattered most. larger bathroom and spacious room. easy to park at your room.

The room was newly refurbished and I get like the tradies could have cleaned up a bit better. As I arrived late, a map with my room circled/highlighted could have helped me find my room with more ease in the dark.

Location suited our needs travelling through. On site restaurant was magnificent, delivered our meals to the room! Bathroom configuration was a little odd with a small toilet & shower room, however it functioned really well, would be better with a shower screen somehow rather than curtain. Looks like reno's happening on rooms, so expect more quality rooms to come

Sliding door was very heavy & hard to open, but other than that it was a lovely room & very clean

I have stayed 3 times at the Hill Top and it is my "go to" motel in fab Broken Hill. This time we got a newly renovated room which was very kind of the friendly owners Andrea and her husband. We enjoyed the interesting chats with them, too. Overall Broken Hill is amazing, especially the Desert Park for sunset and near-by Silverton. The Silly Goat Cafe in the main street of BH gets my vote for good coffee and ambience, and for dinner we enjoyed a great plate at the Democratic Club. All in all a memorable stay!
