All of the Staff at Charles Rasp Motor Inn & Cottages were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We arrived with a camper trailer, the Receptionist was very accommodating, allowing us to park our car and camper securely on site. Our room was very clean/spotless and the bed was comfortable.

The only let down was the bathroom/shower. The shower did not have a door so the bathroom floor was covered in water from showering, leaving a very, wet bath mat and tiled floor.

The bed was the best bit apart from someone else's hairs on the blankets.

The spa was absolutely disgusting had to fill it up twice and clean it myself to be able to use it. The cobwebs and spiders was all you could see sitting in the spa. And the shower head was broken and squirted across the room. The staff wasn't very friendly in check in as it was 5 minutes before knocking time. Aircon blew hot air also. Then I left $5 for a $4.50 chocolate in the mini bar and it went walk abouts and I had 4 to 5 phonecalls about it. So for $200 a night it was very disappointing.

Rooms were warm and comfortable, bathroom beautifully appointed with nice hot showers John rang to confirm arrival time and sent detailed instructions on how to access room out of hours.

I think that Broken Hill would have a lot of longer stay clientele, it would be good to have a bit more kitchenware available in the rooms such as chopping boards, a sharp knife, etc. We didn't have cutlery or plates either but it was easy enough to ask the lovely staff. I think the property could benefit from a communal laundry area where you can tap and pay for a wash or a dry. We had this service available in numerous other motels around Australia.
