A relatively good cruise in the Ha Long bay. A lot of activities to do are included such as kayaking, visiting pearl factory, caves, etc. Staff were generally friendly & food was fine.

Boat is a bit old & room facilities need maintenance. Activities are compacted in short time so we didn't have enough time for each activity. All kind of drinks (water, soft drinks, etc.) are not included in the price. They asked to pay 3% extra for paying using cards. On last day, lunch was provided at 10:30 am before leaving the boat at 11 am & the bus that took us back to Hanoi was delayed for an hour & arrived late at Hanoi at 5 pm so better to keep some snacks with you for the road.

First of all, the boat and rooms does not look like on the pictures you see as the main booking photo. Instead you get a very worn out, old boat with horrendous round "bed" of max 170m, impossible to sleep for 2 people. Room was also very smelly, old and tiny. At night was not possible to sleep due to the location where the boat was parked as it was next to the local fishing spot and we had really load Asian techno the whole night. As soon as you have a problem crew pretends they don't speak English at all and they are not helpful. It's a typical tourist trap for much too high cost, just spend a bit more and get yourself another pleasant experience. This was was a nightmare

È una delle crociere più economiche che abbiamo trovato ma è andata oltre le nostre aspettative! La barca è confortevole, il cibo buonissimo e abbondante, lo staff simpatico e gentile. Il ritmo è serrato viste le diverse attività previste, ma c'è comunque tempo per rilassarsi sull'ottima terrazza. La spiaggia che abbiamo raggiunto in kayak era solo per noi, bellissimo. Il trasporto da Hanoi era incluso nel prezzo e perfettamente organizzato.

La barca è un po' vecchiotta (ma per una notte, va bene così). L'esperienza che ci è piaciuta di meno è stata la visita alla grotta il primo giorno, perché c'era davvero troppa gente.

The food and staff were good, Ha Long Bay itself is amazing. Squid fishing at night was cool.

- Bed extremely uncomfortable - Was taken kayaking in a rubbish filled area (attached photo) - Alot of time sitting anchored up (not much cruising) and when cruising only seemed to go around the same 20 islands - Final day we were kicked out of our rooms at 8am sp they could clean for a photo shoot, that we were unaware of being involved in.

there’s 7 rooms so max. 14 passengers so it was easy to connect

the activities were kinda basic and i had a transfer to ninh binh booked via the cruise but the bus stopped in a nearby village, not in ninh binh so i had to pay again to go to ninh binh. they also don’t take all credit cards

For a budget price you got a superb service far exceeding the expectations based on the price in comparison to the larger more modern boats. The Boats are older, but have great character, and the rooms have all the facilities you need, toilet sink, shower. The smaller capacity allows the whole group of guests the ability to get to know each other freely. The staff go out their way to make you welcome and attend to you. There is definately a fun vibe to the boats with encouragement each night to drink cockatails (which are increadably cheap) sing karaoke and dance. You visit all the sights that each of the more expenisive tours also visit. I would recomend doing the 3 day 2 night stay. The 2nd day you visit Cat Ba Island go kayaking through caves into blue green clear lagoons, and may be lucky and see the monkeys before swimming on the beach or diving in off the boat.

For some no WIFI is a godsend, but for others we require it for business needs
