- The attitude of the receptionist was a big no, no for me. I started talking to her on the phone before I actually met her. The attitude did not improve at all.

The only issue I've had with Ecotel is the TV not working the fact that I actually have my own USB to watch movies but I still can't because theres no remote I can understand your TVs not working but lots of people have USBs even in their cars if there was remotes for the TVs I think it would be better there's no excuse for a hotel to not be having a TV remote if guests are stealing remotes you charge R100 deposit for someone to take a remote that way people return the remotes if they don't the hotel buys a new one these TVs are actually not working because there is no remote I've realized that because even setting the channels needs a remote not pressing on the TV some of the TVs are close towards the wall you can't see which button to press even the guy that fixes the TVs has to use his phone to take a picture behind the TV so he can see which button his pressing

There was no water during the whole stay, unable to shower, no electricity for most of my stay(no backup power generator or inverter).
