We loved it. A really beautiful, warm, cosy and comfortable gem in the heart of Leeuwarden, which I hadn't previously realised was so beautiful. The guesthouse is an old building, I presume a traditional townhouse, on three levels. It is beautifully appointed and decorated so that it hugs you. We loved the artisan touches, especially the soaps and delicious tea selection. I did not meet the owners, but they were very responsive and helpful to my few questions.

There was nothing I didn't like. My only observation would be that it was perfect for the two of us, but I'm not sure how well it would accommodate more adults if they had large suitcases.

Breakfast was perfect, generous and various with No glu option (but only we needed a change of days that was unfortunately not possible, cause already booked before arriving). The flat is very nice, welcoming, with all amenities, open shower in bathroom, and 2 toilets ; on 3 different floors (Careful few Steps!), nice viewing on Céramic Museum, and even close to Oldehove. The road is calm at night. The area is wonderfully close to every point of interest, and a few minutes from the train station.

There were some works in the next building, but ... and the toilet seat needed to be repaired.

I had to buy an iron!

This house is very clean and nice decorated. It’s also situated in the city center. It’s perfect if you want to explore the city.

Nothing! Everything is perfect!

Very spacious, bed was extremely comfy, kitchen was very well equipped, and dishwasher was an added bonus!

No extractor in the bathroom, so needed to have window and blind open to stop steam.

Great location. Perfect apartment for a stay of 3 days.

There is no balcony or something like that.

The townhouse was beautiful and in a great location. But we didn't appreciate the tone of the owners in their communication. While I understand that clarity may have been the motivation, I do t want to be told I will be charged a euro per minute for every minute after 11am I am in the apartment. Other comments about regulations made us feel they were less interested in any real hospitality and more interested in the apartment itself. The charge of 0.25c per cup of coffee or tea was unnecessary in an apartment that charges 150 per night. That would have been a nice complementary extra that would have made us feel less like unwanted guests.
