The view from the room was spectacular and an amazing service as well! The kitchenette had everything you could possibly need.

Wow!! The views...we had 2 cabins, numbers 4 and 9. 9 has spectacular views and several reviews recommended this cabin as a favorite....it's spectacular. Number 4 is on the other side of the property, smaller and the view is not as spectacular but it was still wonderful. The front desk was terrific with making all our arrangements to visit reserves, cloud forest walks and the night tour. All were great!! We loved the guides we used and were happy to have free transportation to the sites so we didn't have to drive. The rooms are nice and well appointed...they don't serve breakfast but with the great views and kitchen areas it was more fun to just pick up some items at the local supermarket and hang out. Very quiet and it was an easy walk into town. We stayed 3 nights and totally enjoyed it!!

It's not close to the town

Most incredible sunsets and views right from the comfort of our room.

No food service at lodging; the hotel is based on a ridge which gives it the most breathtaking views but also incredibly high winds overnight.

OUTSTANDING views - we stayed in #10. staff were friendly. location was great! 10 min walk to stores and restaurants.

Nothing to do with this lodge but the winds were exceptionally loud through the night. Bring ear plugs!!

1. The view our room had was incredible. 2. It was outside of town, but a quick and cheap taxi ride away. 3. The staff was very communicative. They sent a message after the booking was confirmed to tell us what to expect. When we arrived they spent time going over a local map of activities and places. They were very friendly and happy to call you a cab whenever you needed it. 4. They offer laundry services and it was not a bad price (cost is by weight). TIPS: 1. The message they send you after you book provides a lot of information, but if you are like us we read it and figured it would be fine. They mention winds and that they are all night and very loud. I had headphones on when I was sleeping and I woke up to wind gusts throughout the night. They are not exaggerating any of the information in that message. We highly recommend reading it thoroughly and making sure you are okay with all the information provided. We decided the view was worth the winds and other things. 2. All the rooms are different (from what we could tell). There might be some that are similar, but each one is set up in a little bit different way. We had a beautiful sun room with big windows and hanging chairs.

1. The only complaint we have is that the bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever laid on. It was so firm that it caused me intense back pain. This discomfort effected our days in Monteverde as we were not as well rested for the things we wanted to do from waking up in pain throughout the night. The property would have a MUCH higher rating from us if the bed had been comfier.

From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. They helped us arrange the things we wanted to do & recommended places to eat & drink. Nothing was too much to ask and they weren't at all pushy, just happy to help. The room was lovely and spacious with a huge comfy bed. The view was beautiful too.

Seriously! It was the best place that we stay during our travel! The view was amazing and we also got the cance to see the sunrise by the bed! No television needed in the day with that kind of view! It was so perfect to have the swing inside our « house » All is beautiful inside. And the bed was soooo comfy! The little store on the other side of the road is perfect to get juice, bread, egg, pasta… not a grocery store but better than nothing. The night we were here, the wifi got a problem for half of the « little house » unfortunately we didnt get it back before leaving but the employees was fast to help us and call the compagny. We really liked the services!

The view! The room was exactly how the pictures were portrayed, absolutely stunning. (I booked room 10) Axel was super helpful both before and during our stay, answering any questions I had and suggesting and setting up tours and guides as well. There were some pans and other cooking utensils, so we were able to stop at the grocery store and make breakfast in the room during our stay. Very close to the town center and a lot of the tours and activities offered transportation if you're not renting a car. Loved the swing chairs!

The bed was more firm than I'm used to

A truly unique accommodation experience with breathtaking mountain views as well as some waterfall and sea views and lots of stars at night. The glass room attached to the cabin was an incredible experience both day and night.

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like about the accommodations. The area is extremely windy and tends to be colder than the lower lying areas of Costa Rica, so be prepared for that with appropriate clothing, but that is not at all a negative, just something to be aware of.

The view from the room is unbeatable. the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about activities in the area. they gave us detailed recommendations for breakfast, dinner, and cloud forest activities, and they are all top notched. it’s like having your own tour guide

we loved staying here with the amazing views and having so much space. clean and comfortable, great value! the small town with restaurants is a very short drive away or cheap taxi ride. glad we stayed here and had the view rather than in town!
