Alba and David responded really quickly using WhatsApp to the couple of issues we had when we arrived. They sorted them very quickly. They were always on hand via WhatsApp to give advice and help. The kitchen is well equipped, as are all the rooms. We had the pool warmed, which was really great. We loved the different living areas: dining room, living room, front terrace (which we didn't use much because it was really windy when we were there), and the back garden. The villa is well supplied with cooking and eating equipment, and towels and bedding. The main double bed was very comfortable. Being away from the centre of Playa Blanca meant that it was quiet, but there were nice walks along the sea front and the local shops were very convenient.

The downstairs bathroom is well equipped, but a little small. The single beds were not as comfortable as the doubles.

The beds unfortunately v uncomfortable with the foam mattresses and also could do with new pillows. We arrived at 9 pm at night and it would have been lovely if there had just been some milk/coffee provided as we then had to walk to the shops after a very long day late at night.

We loved the location, a 5 minute stroll to supermarkets and a fantastic selection of restaurants and lounge bars. Also great a location to get into the promenade with a beautiful walk along the coast path to the town and the marina. The villa had everything you could need for a great holiday, very well equipped. The area is so peaceful too. We’ve stayed in many villas every year in Playa Blanca over the past 30 years and will definitely book this one again.

Hosts Alba and her son were very nice. Just like described in other ratings: they do their very best to make your stay comfortable etc.

The house in general was very outdated in terms of furniture, facilities, bedding, towels etc. Not really a house that I would describe as “luxurious”. Some things were not working (such as the pool lights; which was very disappointing for the kids who looked forward to “night swimming”), and some things in the house were not really clean. Wifi was definitely not up to a standard that teenage kids would define as “good”; it was average. The pool was cold because of cloudy and very windy weather, and when asking for heating it up, the answer was “we recommend to make trips to the north where it is not windy”. Not really a good suggestion for teenage kids who just picked this house for the pool! In walking around the area we came across boutique villas down the road from the house we booked. They looked much more luxurious, had heated (private) pool and we could have stayed there for the same price with breakfast included as well! Don’t get us wrong; overall our holiday was fine and we had a nice time, but we had higher expectations due to the high score on booking.com and we definitely think these high scores are overrated if you look at what you get at which price.

We booked this villa as it looked fabulous and was in the perfect location for us. The villa had everything you need for a family holiday, was immaculately clean and the views from the upstairs bedroom and roof terrace are wonderful. There was the option to have the pool heated which was great, you do need it in the Autumn. Loved the pool! Beds were very comfortable. Brilliant and friendly help from the owners, couldn’t be any more helpful. We didn’t have a car and you don’t need one as there are supermarkets and restaurants 5 minutes walk away with more restaurants and beach just over 30 minutes walk along a coastal path. Perfect holiday.

Well before our vacation started, we were in touch with Alba. She was very prompt in responding to our questions with regards to the property / location and other facilities. On reaching we were received by Alba and she gave us a tour of the property explaining how the heated pool works and also running through other facilities nearby. She had also placed a guide of Lanzarote in the property with useful information. The guide was of great help. The rooms / property was very tidy and it exceeded our expectations. The enitre stay was very enjoyable and relaxing and would definitely use this property once again.
