absolutely stunning! the most gorgeous home with the most magnificent view! Robyn was such a lovely host. I felt so well taken care of! breakfast outside overlooking the lake was absolutely magical.

It was out of town and you had to drive into town each day for restaurants and supplies etc. It was to far to walk.

The view is to die for! Wow factor as you drive down the driveway, the garden is spectacular, the room view is second to non! Robyn the host was delightful, loved sharing her local knowledge and went out of her way to make us feel pampered. The property was immaculate. our stay was comparable to a 5 star hotel.

The views are absolutely stunning over the lake . The house was reasonably modern with quality finishings. Robin the owner was cheerful and welcoming and accepting and polite when we canceled our stay.
It cost $395 to rent a small room with ensuite and small balcony in someone's house with all other areas being shared facilities with other guests. No privacy. The place gives the vibe of staying at a distance relatives house for the night where you don't quite feel comfortable. The most I would expect to pay would be around $180 a night. Very over priced. There was a dead cockroach in the spa bath on our arrival. Also the place had a very over powering perfume smell from scented candles or something similar. We paid above average to enjoy a luxurious weekend and this was a fail for us at Serenity on Wakeman. We decided to cancel not long after arrival and forfeit $395. We were able to book a lovely large clean apartment with a huge double spa bath. Sky TV in lounge and bedroom. Kitchen loaded with lots of tea & coffee, extra bickie's ect , High quality linen, robes, slippers, toiletries. With buffet breakfast for $280 a night.... only meters from the waterfront and private so we could relax and enjoy our well deserved weekend away.

Apart from the stunning location and amazing views , clean rooms comfortable beds and outstanding breakfasts ( fresh fruits, eggs, accompaniments, juices ect) Really great to meet and spend time with our lovely host. She is very knowledgeable and recommended some fantastic local places to eat and visit... Nga mihi nui great place to stay for a couple of nights

Our lovely host was helpful with information and sent us to a great restaurant. Breakfast was cooked for us to order when we were ready. Couldn't fault the service and attention at all. The only regret was not being there for another day to soak in the fantastic views and location.

The host is lovely and goes out of her way to provide an exceptional service. Attention to detail and care is found in all aspects. Outstanding views, wonderful breakfast and a very friendly host. Room is gorgeous and comfortable. Highly recommend this B&B.
