Lovely property, very pretty, nice back garden with plenty of places to sit, in addition to outside sitting area for each room and an inner courtyard. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They moved our breakfast without fuss when we couldn’t decide whether to breakfast outside when rain was threatening. The room had all we needed for refreshments (various free teas, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits, plus additional drinks and snacks available from the mini bar if desired). The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast. No other meals available but we got a takeaway delivered to our outside patio easily enough. A few resident animals, I came across a laid back dog, 2 cats, a couple of horses and a few chickens, but none of them were invasive if you don’t want to be close to them.

If you are scared of spiders you might struggle as with all older buildings, this had a few hanging around, but they were the spindly variety, not very mobile and didn’t bother us.

The rooms are beautifully designed, beds are incredibly comfortable and breakfast was delicious

The most beautiful venue and surroundings! Unfortunately I didn’t make the most of my stay as I was at a wedding elsewhere so was only at the venue a short period of time, but the staff were so attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family!

Amazing room (big bath and shower too), very clean, excellent welcoming, plenty of car parking spaces, breakfast was delicious (very well cooked and plenty to eat).... Couldnt have asked for more ... and really kind hosts too, will definitely revisit ... thanks for having us, 5* would recommend to anyone

Breakfast was wonderful, staff are friendly and welcoming. Location is great for our purposes and the house is stunning.

We booked the family room but we had nowhere in our room to sit and relax as a family. One bedroom also has to walk through another to get to the bathroom facilities which doesn't work for an older family without young children. For the price of the room, a sitting area

A wonderful comfortable, warm and welcoming place to unwind for a couple of days.

I liked everything about Willington Lodge. Beautiful location. Friendly and helpful service. The room was lovely, comfortable and very well equipped. Mince pie and fruit as a welcome was nice. I would recommend highly.

The breakfast was very good, but every cooked choice was on toast or bread and it would have been nice to have an option without it.

Wrexham itself isn't very nice but it's about 30 mins to 2 hour to any of the nicer parts like snowdonia or langollen.

Location and house are lovely. The suite was beautifully designed- plenty of space, large bathroom and very tasteful throughout. Quiet room and very comfy bed. Breakfasts brought to our room were very good. Fresh milk in the fridge and well stocked ‘mini bar’. Hosts were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We arrived very late at night,which didn’t cause a problem. Can’t fault the room, service or grounds.

A gorgeous country house with 5 star facilities and friendly helpful staff. Stayed as we were going to a wedding nearby. Stayed 3 nights and look forward to going again and having breakfast on patio after super nights sleep.

That I didn’t stay longer

Even before we arrived, we felt well looked after - the owners had already been in touch to ask if we would like restaurant suggestions etc. The surroundings are amazing, the room extremely comfortable and the breakfast was gorgeous. The real attention to detail was obvious as soon as we arrived. Couldn't fault it - hope to visit again some time in the future!
