Men's bathroom on the 5th floor was not cleaned at all during my stay and the women's bathroom door was kept open for some reason and the corridor smelled of urine. The cleaners were extremely rude, on the morning of my check out one of them hit my foot with her vaccum cleaner while cleaning the room and told me to check out immediately and not at 12 noon if I am gonna check out at all. This happened at 10am. The location is bad, the streets outside smell of urine and Belleville neighbourhood is a well known ghetto with lots of would be criminals hanging about 24/7. The room I was in had air conditioning running from the vent, but because it was next to the bathrooms it emitted smell of toilet throughout the day into my bed area--the vent is right above the bed C and D, which was mine. For this lovely experience, I paid almost 40 euros and I think was a little too much. But you be the judge.

Nice atmosphere, kind staff, clean, close to metro.

I like the bar down stairs and the bunk beds are quite spacious.

The location was good. Of a little bit from the main part of the city so it was a little more quiet and set between two metro stations. Easy to get to any other part of the city using them. The beds were clean, rooms clean, and the rooftop sitting area has one of the best views of the sunset and a good place to watch the tower shimmer. The indian food place next door is the best! Highly recommend getting the chapati with chicken. The best things ever and only 6 euro.

The bathrooms need to be aired out. They seem musty and potentially a place for mold to grow.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very affordable. Good location close to the metro. There was a produce market every Tuesday with fresh fruits and greens.

Loft beds (double deck) too high, not safe I think. No table and chairs in the room. No hand washing or toothbrushing sink in the room (bathrooms and toilets are communal) outside the room.

The location was excellent . Walkable from metro station.

There was only one toilet each for men and women at entire floor (and two showers) . And that sungle toilet was out of order in my floor. It was bit expensive for an 8 bed room

I am in love with the working personnel, who were amazing and attentive. The rooms were clean, without any bad smells, and the beds were comfortable. The location is close to the metro, so there is no trouble getting to any point in the city.

My experience was excellent. Perfect room, bathroom, breakfast and service. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Great place to make friends!

The neighborhood is not so safe. I was harassed a few times by men on the street

it’s very close to the metro and their is a street nearby where I did some shopping , was always clean and the bunk beds are stable and comfy

Location is nice, pub downstairs, on Friday and Saturday night there was some nice music downstairs (DJ) nice atmosphere for chill and socialising, it's clean and felt safe.

Very basic breakfast. That could be improved. Price is quite high for the bed in 6 bed dorm . Also drinks are quite expensive. No discount if you live there.

Bright, clean place, friendly people and comfort location

The beds were comfortable although somewhat worne out, the showers were very good. It was quiet throughout most nights. There were funny designs / quotes on the walls and doors. Reception is open 24/7, making it easy to leave and enter the property at all times.

Due to clearance & Food, staff behavior is welcoming and happy to stay over there.

Bed space is bit congested, not sleep very well, however its matching with my budget so its OK.

I stayed here before the pandemia and I decided to go back for a second visit and still not disappointed. Kind staff, comfy bed and clean facilities. Thank you

That I moved to The people Nation. I wish I stayed longer at The people Belleville. If you’re considering The people Nation, don’t even bother I’m regretting my booking and even more that I extended after my first impression. The first impression was just first impression the ugly part came soon and it was very ugly.
