A beautifully kept property, quiet and private location on the edge of Ngunguru. Immaculately clean and exceptionally well-equipped. Amazing menagerie of birds and animals, but did not encroach on the house. Very spacious accommodation. We didn’t use the pool or games room, but they look great. Linen and beds of particularly high quality. Lovely welcome pack, special host. We’re really choosy and when we say a place is special, it truly is!

It was our second visit to Peacock lodge, after 3 years. Beautiful as we remembered. Has everything you can think of and everything you can't. Very clean. Large. Comfy. Great location for exploring the Tutukaka cost and Whangarei heads. Natalie (the host) is very nice and helpful with anything you need. We'll be back for sure.

Everything was great.

We loved everything about it and my kids were so happy and enjoyed the animals and playroom. We were definetly happy with our stay well worth it and will be recommending and staying there again.

From start to finish the property was amazing. Far exceeded our expectations. From the welcome treats when we arrived to the extras in the bedroom and bathroom. More kitchen facilities than I have in my own house. Extra bonus of the mancave and outdoor games and farms animals for the kids.

The easiest transaction I’ve had ever, super friendly wonderful host as we got to meet her and had a chat. She had left a wine for us and snacks which is above and beyond along with offering a comfy relaxed family friendly home. Bonus was walking around the property feeding the birds and pigs. Highly recommend.
