No breakfast offered. No washing up liquid, dishcloth or teatowel for washing up. Dishwasher in the kitchen but no dishwasher tablets. No hand soap provided. No hand towels provided. Cleanliness not up to scratch and lodge generally needs some maintenance. Was stated games provided and none. Also stated slippers provided and none. Had use of hot tub but only 2 towels provided. Bit disappointing as have visited several times before a few years ago and not to the same standard.

Some of the details were not as in the advertised details. Needed some maintenance in places. Information from property was helpful but also gave the impression of being very regulated whereas the owners/managers were actually overly relaxed.

It is well presented, clean and comfortable in a lovely quiet location with a great view over a fishing lake. Very peaceful and relaxing with lots of places to go walking

Absolutely stunning views, a perfect location and our Lodge was exceptional. We had the most relaxing time and the Hot Tub was an amazing added bonus. Would definitely return again and would definitely recommend.

Location great. Owners were nice and helpful. Amazing view. Was fab to have an enclosed garden and facilties within the cabin were good.
It didn't feel very clean. Too many Spiderwebs (and spiders) inside.

Very tranquil - lovely setting
Very comfortable and relaxing - just what I was looking for
Very friendly dog who greated us on arrival and would have left with us having jumped on to my lap in the car just before leaving

What a lovely place to stay. The facilitates,location,cleanliness & welcoming hosts were all amazing everything you would want and more.
Asked for a birthday package for my partner and wasn’t disappointed. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend 😊

The lodge was immaculate and very spacious

The bed was very uncomfortable and my quality of sleep was very poor! Please upgrade it to a larger one with a deeper mattress.
TV signal was quite poor but it's a smart TV so could go on Netflix

The seclusion and fishing lakes were excellent, the local farm shop had everything we needed for cooking breakfast or a bbq. Farm animals were a bonus and the ducks loved the leftover bread and toast.

Quiet spot. Easy access. Pleasant views. Well located for visits.
Had 2 lodges for 4 adults. Only one hand towel for 2 people for 4 nights in each lodge.
One lodge no dishwasher tablets.
One lodge missing hob bulb and one bedroom side light bulb not working.
One lodge no tv remote... told previous guests had lost it. Contacted owner who said one ordered and arrived after 2 days. However, no batteries in it so told to use ones in DVD remote... but different size batteries so couldn’t use remote at all!
No bag/ box for recycling in one lodge and no plastic bag for wet laundry as stated in policy.
Quite a few cobwebs and dust.. food remnants under dining table from previous guests.
No kitchen towel provided.
Only 4 mugs in cupboard... bit limiting if there were 4 people.
Suggest lodges really fit for 2 adults and 2 children. Only one wardrobe in one bedroom . ...for 4 people.
Adequately furnished but just a bit tired looking.

Peaceful. Relaxing. Comfortable. Amazing place to recharge your batteries. Great view over the lakes. Added bonus of a relaxing hot tub. Great local produce at the near by farm shop. Highly recommended

It was in such a lovely peaceful location, with stunning views across the lake. We loved the hot tub & rural location. We had a fantastic family break. Very relaxing there. Would definitely recommend.

Helpfulness of booking staff. Flexibility of booking. Cleanliness inside. Very peaceful as no other guests.
Very uncomfortable bed. No hot water for shower. Lack of instructions for appliances e.g. microwave. Cabins rather tired looking and general air of being run down.
