spacious, close to the beach and restaurants yet silent

My family and I had such a great time at the Sanctuary at Los Corales. It was a beautiful and spacious apartment (we were on the top floor) two master bedrooms very large and comfortable and even the smaller room had a Queen bed and was very comfortable. Marilus the attendant was so nice and attentive to our needs, she was friendly and very responsive. There are small supermarkets within walking distance which was great for cooking at home and since many restaurants disappointed. The beach was close a 5 min walk and my family and I enjoyed reading on the beach and swimming as well as a day trip to Saona Island, there is a tour company in the housing complex which was very convenient and the prices were fair, I cross checked on line.

The only thing I would say is that the running water/tap water had a weird odor, and I don't know how clean it was. However, I don't think this is the property's doing, I imagine everyone in the area has the same water source. My sister actually developed a fungal infection around her neck from the water, so this was the only downside but again, I think this is just an issue of the local water source, I'm sure dominicans are used to it.

It depends on when you go, I suppose, but during our stay (November), the beach nearby was full of seaweed. However, we've got an opportunity to explore the island better (do so!).

- The apartment was awesome: Very big, perfectly clean and fully equipped - The local manager/host, Marilus, is a great person who takes care every detail and makes sure that the stay is perfect. This was excellent service in any way - Overall a very good place with very nice people and a new and luxury flat near the beach. Would be a 10 of not for the pricing issues described below

- the pricing policy of the place was quite strange in my opinion and i didnt like certain aspects of it (it was all written and made clear in the details about the place on booking so it was transparent information): 1. Cleaning fee of USD 150 no matter how long you stay (IMO makes no sense and should be included in daily price), 2. Damage caution fee of USD 150 (probably they had issues with former guests but i didnt like the fact that the amount was actually booked on the credit card and not just reserved - > for non US People it means to pay exchange rate 2 times), 3. Electricity had to be paid in advance (USD 100) and was charged by consumption. I have never seen that before and IMO it should be included in total price

The property was situated very close to everything and love the variety of restaurants, beach is about two/ three minutes away, Mariluz the Manager were very nice and explain everything. everything was perfect so we didn’t have to be calling the Mariluz, plus there was always Jamie just in case we needed anything… Love the sanctuary and will definitely visting again

If you are visiting Punta Cana this is your place to stay! We had a group of 5 and we stayed in the 3 bedroom/ 3 bath apartment! From the moment we arrived everything was great. They provided all of the transportation throughout our stay as well for an extra fee but it was very convenient since we were unfamiliar and did not speak much Spanish. If we needed anything for the apartment throughout our stay Mariluz (Property Manager) was there extremely fast to assist us! Not only did Mariluz assist with things for the apartment she also recommended things for us to do, showed us around, and stayed in constant communication throughout our stay. The communication prior to, during and after was wonderful. They provided us with all information needed and had no problem answering our questions. Everything is also within walking distance and you will definitely have an AMAZING time at all the restaurants and the beach! I would 100% recommend you to stay here if you are visiting Punta Cana! Also, look into booking your excursions with BeachFun809! We were able to get great package deals and a great experience!

My friends and I really enjoyed the facilities. Out host Mariluz went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Mariluz took care of us like we were her family.

Nothing bad i can think of.

We cooked our own meal, the kitchen was spacious with all the amenities of home. The resort looked just like pics. Bedrooms private, spacious and clean, patio huge and cool, pool nice, beach located minutes away. LOVED THIS PLACE, OMG, A MUST-VISIT. Chairs at the dining room table were not sturdy, nor spacious; hated to sit in them afraid everyone was going to break them trying to sit down in them.

Chairs at the dining room table are my only complaint - OMG HATED THEM, SMALL, TIGHT FIT, NOT STURDY AND UNCOMFORTABLE.

No basic seasonings, like salt and black pepper. No washer and dryer.

Very new, modern, clean and comfortable facilities in a great location near the beach. Loved it
