Betty was a gem!!! The customer service was exceptional. She was willing and ready to assist at every aspect of the way. The property was clean and welcoming. The ambiance of the property was breathtakingly beautiful. It's the perfect romantic getaway.

The orchid cottage is best described as-in my words, a tropical paradise in the middle of the city. If you’re someone who is looking for what the city has to offer such as; art museums, Bob Marley museum, night life, etc. and would still love to wake up to nature, then the orchid cottage would be the right place for you. Miss Betty the host, and owner is very warm and welcome, and always greet you every morning with coffee and fruits. The property is well maintained and managed, and Miss Betty is always available to accommodate your needs. The yard is filled with beautiful orchid’s and large fan palm trees. One of my favorite highlights of the morning is, seeing the hummingbirds stopping by for their sweet treats. I would definitely recommend the Orchid cottage if you’re staying in the city.

Beautiful stunning Cottage, the whole place was lovely & clean, we was made to feel so welcome, Betty called me to ask if I have had a Jamaican patty, I hadn’t and really wanted one, so Betty brought one back for me while she was out and it was Delicious!! we was also provided a beautiful breakfast of freshly picked fruit picked that day which again tasted incredible, what an absolute gem. The gardens were my favourite, thanks to Betty I was able to see a hummingbird 🥰 so Thankyou and when I return this place will be booked again and for longer!

An absolute gem in the upscale neighborhood of Cherry Gardens in Kingston. Our experience began with a warm welcome from our host Betty and a tour of the property. Surrounded by an impressive variety of fruit trees we were able to sample exotic fruits right off the branches. Along with beautiful flora there were an absolutely stunning variety of birds including hummingbirds that were so tame one could approach quietly to snag some excellent photos of at a close distance. The breakfast was homemade and delicious including some Jamaican national dishes, fresh fruits and tea from the garden. Overall an excellent stay and will return in the near future.

Everything went well! Betty and staff were amazing. The location very close to grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations. The neighborhood is quiet. The guest house is very clean and spacious. Overall glad I chose to stay and Orchid Cottage.

The location was great....close to shopping. The facility was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was very good and tropical. The best part was Betty. She made you feel welcome, her hospitality was awesome.

I love everything about this place, this is my 2nd stay here. I will be back again. The best thing about my stay is seeing the same employees each time, especially Samantha! She's wonderful!

Betty made us feel at home as soon as we arrived and really looked after us during our two days there. Her home is like an oasis in the city - perfect for relaxing. Her breakfast and the mangoes she gave us from one of her trees were delicious. She kindly showed us around and dropped us off to a few places in the city that we mentioned we wanted to go to. We also went to eat Island Grill one evening which was a short walk away. Can't wait to come again! Thank you so much Betty <3

This was our second visit to Orchid Cottage and like the first time we really enjoyed the space indoors and outside. Betty is a nice host who ensured we were comfortable. She also offered a healthy breakfast of seasonal fruits.

There was nothing we did not like

The host was so nice and the house keeper lovely. I would recommend this place to anyone the location is very close to everything.
