Outstanding accommodations for a milestone Anniversary. My hubby and I celebrated our 50 years of marriage with family and it was lovely!

Everything was better than expected - the view, river, house comfort, supply of everything we needed. Would love to come back!

Great space and amenities. Well stocked with all essentials which made it easier to prepare meals. The Kayaks were great as was river access.

This year I wanted a golf and river birthday. This was perfect. The house is less then 5 minutes walk from the 1st tee. So after my best Northwood round, we had a barbecue on the deck. We loved watching the woodpeckers and herons flying over the river. We spent Sunday being river bums, kayaked and floated. We celebrated the gifts of this location. I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you

We had a great time at this property, which is nested in the redwoods with a beautiful view onto the river. The house was very clean and the kitchen was by far the best stocked we have ever had - all types of cooking and serving utensils and dish ware, spices and other condiments. There is a large deck with a large table to eat outside, several kayaks and a canoe for the river, and a gas fireplace in the living room to keep warm on cool evenings and mornings. The owner was very responsive and extremely flexible. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a house near the Northwood Golf Course or a river view this is the one. It was very comfortable for 5 people. (6 if you don't mind a trundle bed) location was across from 2nd hole of Northwood and very easy to get to. Comfortable beds and sitting area and well stocked kitchen! Would stay again for sure!!

My family had a great time at Rekha’s beautiful property. The house has direct river access and is well equipped with kayaks and canoes. We enjoyed cooking, playing, and relaxing at the house. Will definitely return.

The property was beautiful, the view from the living room and deck was simply amazing; not to mention the Stellar Jays, woodpeckers and song birds that came to visit everyday. The kitchen was well stocked with every cooking device and utensil you could think to use. The water toys were in abundance and I haven't even mentioned the proximity to Northwood Restaurant and golf course.

Nice house tucked away in the golf course on a very quiet stretch of river. The master bedroom is very spacious and the other rooms are a good size as well. Everything you need is included.

We had a great time at Rekha’s house on the water. It was our first time in the area and the house’s location couldn’t be better - close to restaurants and amenities but in a neighborhood that feels very private. We also used the kayaks available at the house for a float down the river and saw deer and many birds from the deck of the house. Communication with Rekha was easy and very prompt! We can’t wait to be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2.5 weeks here in summer. The location was excellent for long walks, golfing across the street and peaceful kayak trips in the Russian river, where we saw deer, buzzards, ducks, cranes and other birds! We also visited 8 wineries for tasting and pairings. The home was equipped with all the necessities and many luxuries. We used all the amenities, preparing many meals, and everything was in great working order. A couple friends and family joined us briefly and we were all very comfortable. Our favorite was the view from the deck - we spent many hours observing wildlife and relaxing in the sunshine! We'll definitely return.

we loved our stay at the house. We stayed for a week, to take a short break and relax from nearby san francisco. It's well situated, with vistas of the river and the forest from the patio and many of the rooms. One can even take a good 30-40m walk in the morning around the golf course at the back. There is a coffee shop with good coffee rewarding the coffee addicts among us at the end of such a walk in the woods in the morning. The house is well stocked among other things with sports gear, and kayaks that enriched our stay. We did many trips on the river with our 10 year old. We also appreciated the tasteful interior design, homey yet done with taste and care. Great nearby stay for city folks. We are coming again soon :)

We loved this cabin. The location on the river is perfect and the home is in a great neighborhood. We saw river otters from the deck. It was comfortable, spacious, clean and wonderfully quiet!! The access to their kayaks was an added bonus. We loved our stay here!!

All in all a great experience. I would definitely come back here.

We really enjoyed our stay, a Thanksgiving reunion with our adult sons and their wives. The master and second bedroom were very comfortable. The third bedroom is better for young kids with a trundle bed--one soft + 1 hard mattress not very comfortable for adults. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare and serve the big feast. High ceilings create an open atmosphere for hangin' out in big living room. Deck was really nice. Four of us used the kyaks for a beautiful day, including lots of bird and river otter sightings. We grilled two nights. Operating it was a breeze. The host, Rekha was super responsive answering questions and giving us some great dining tips. Perfect location for exploring the coast, redwoods (Armstrong Park is a must see—old growth, some 300 ft high as tall as a football field), and wine tasting. Recco Porter Bass Family Winery only 15 mins from the house. Low key with tasting under a walnut tree on a plank between two old barrels. We would definitely return.

We went with some friends for a retreat style weekend and the house was a great spot. The place has a traditional cabin feel and had plenty of amenities that you would expect from a vacation rental. They had plenty of equipment canoes kayaks to use.

The home is large and the high ceilings give it an even more spacious feeling. The deck is wonderful for grilling, eating and just hanging out, looking at the river, the trees -- and nothing else! This is privacy and peace. The kitchen is well-stocked, the master bath is luxurious (the big spa bath is wonderful) and the place is well-appointed. While only two stayed at the house, there is clearly ample room for several! A great place.

Great location right on the river; kayaking each day was a highlight of our stay. The cleanest rental house we’ve stayed in, with a well stocked kitchen for grilling and baking with the wild blackberries we came across on a nearby hike! I highly recommend this spot.

We loved our stay. The house was absolutely perfect. It had a well stocked kitchen, which was great. The kayaks were wonderful. It was so nice to have one for everyone and a double too! Rekha's communication was really great. We look forward to coming back.

We loved it! It fit out multigenerational family perfectly. Rooms were well appointed. Kitchen fully functional. Location on the river so serene. Bird watching. Swimming with the kids. Walking the neighborhood among the redwoods. Close to fantastic ice cream and wineries! Kayaks provided and dock was great.

This house was perfect for our plans. All we really wanted to do was float on the river and cook some nice meals we could eat out on the deck with friends and family, but we ended up with even more. The house was clean and nicely furnished, easy to find, and easy to access on arrival. The little dock gave us access to the river, plus the numerous kayaks and tubes available right there made it so that we didn't have to go anywhere. The kitchen was well stocked with more than the basics as well as with lots of plates, bowls, cups, and glasses, etc. and once the meals were cooked, we loved sitting out on the deck watching the river go by as we enjoyed them. After long days in the water and sun, we were happy to find that the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathrooms. I'm only disappointed I didn't take advantage of the fancy bathtub in the master bath, but maybe next time!

A perfect retreat for a family. We enjoyed using the kayaks provided, and cooking our meals in the kitchen, which was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Set in a tranquil neighborhood we enjoyed rounds of golf and evening strolls.

Loved everything about this property! Cute house, great layout, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, everything you could possibly need. Loved the outdoors most of all—quiet neighborhood, beautiful deck and river view, kayaks were tons of fun, nice garage for our car and bikes. Truly an ideal location because the coast was cold and windy while the river was warm and calm. Everything was close by and easy to get to. Highly recommend and we definitely hope to come again.

The setting was fantastic and can not be beat! Once inside the unit it was disappointing in the furnishings, dusty and tired. Walls needed touch up paint, drapes in bedrooms did not match, nick nacks EVERYWHERE. The setting compensated for the interiors. Way to many dish styles of the same type, dirty pans and the ice dispenser and cold water dispenser in the frig was GONE! The setting again compensated for the negatives, but at the end of the day pricing was too high. Certainly a memorable trip, the Russian river, golf and the family room were pluses. The deck needed maintainable AND cleaning. Was it bad .....kinda, would we go back NO.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Lovely, comfortable home, with everything and more we needed in the kitchen. Amazing view from the deck, right on the river. Close to ocean beaches as well. Quiet, peaceful, enjoyable getaway!

Beautiful view of the river with access to the Russian River. The place is in the middle of redwoods and is breathtaking. My family enjoyed our time.

We had a great time at Rheka’s place! Kayaking the Russian River was a fun family event to do! Northwood Golf Course across the street was also a great family outing!
