This is a great stop if you would like to break up your travel from Hanoi to Ha Giang. The facilities are clean, very important to me, and the location is a perfect halfway between cities. Family members are well versed in a few languages making communication very easy.
Please take part in the family dinner offered. It breaks down uneasiness between travelers and the three generations are a great bunch to talk with!

The road, as most remote places in Vietnam can be a little challenging for a few kilometers, but, definitely well worth the time. Hope to visit again on my return to Hanoi.

A little way from the waterfront but the family meal is great fun and worth it for that

every little thing about our stay was absolutely perfect, except for the not-so-quiet night, because of dogs, frogs, and cocks sound in the night and morning, but we didn't bother that much, because our host spend all evening with us, pouring us rice wine for free and gave us a lot of information for our journey + we had fun time and chat in generell.

We had a very warm welcome and a pleasant stay. The house is owned by the family from the Dao ethnic group. The food was wonderful and fresh. They prepared vegan dishes on request, but also have fresh fish from the pond. It comes with a home made rice wine🍷

The boat tour on the nearby lake was exceptional. Do not miss it. We ate with the family who prepared amazing food and treated us like family. We were taught some phrases in their local ethnic language.

We stayed here xfor one night. It is a very typical home stay in the middle of the fields.
The family is so nice they really make you feel like you are at home.
Food and alcohol are homemade and super good !
In the morning Bo took us for a boat trip on the lake, it is an incredible experience with very local scenary.
After 2 weeks traveling in north of Vietnam so far the best place we stayed at for sure!

The staff were really friendly, accommodating with our needs and were will to check or help where they could. The family dinner was fantastic and the hosts English is awesome.
The toilet paper was wet and had dirt on it like it had been used, the sheets had stains on them, there were water marks on every glass surface and mold all up the walls in the bathroom. Also beware of dangerous packs of dogs all along the road to the river. I was basically attacked on one of the evenings. Drive down or don't go.
