We had the perfect stay while attending our friend's wedding just down the road. It's a beautiful old country pub/hotel in a lovely rural location. The owners were fabulous hosts, and so attentive, and a superb breakfast was provided in the morning. I Would very much like to return one day. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an attractive rural retreat. Thank you red pump for a lovely stay. 😊

Cosy bar and restaurant. welcoming staff, very informative and helpful (especially Amelia! ). Breakfast was a delicious English breakfast which was freshly cooked.

Bar closed quite early on Thursday night. Being on holiday and staying in such a lovely place, would have liked to have stayed downstairs a bit later.

The rooms were spacious and clean

The time of breakfast being served needs to be extended beyond 9.30am. I have never known a kitchen closing so early for breakfast resulting in some of our party having to miss breakfast.

Breakfast was good. We know the area well so the location was fine.

1. For the price I would have expected to find complimentary bottled water in the room. 2. For the price I did not expect to share one packet of (2) biscuits between the two of us. 3. There was nowhere to hang any towels in the bathroom. Instead, we found them in the wardrobe hanging frame in the bedroom.

Nothing not to like. It was a special occasion & would have liked a room with a view but that's luck of the draw I guess.

The Inn is beautiful inside and out. It’s very homely with beautiful decor. The staff and owners were both welcoming and made our stay a very enjoyable one.

I thought the breakfast was reasonable, but a little small. I attended a wedding in the evening so didn't try the main meal, which I suspect would have been much better.
