everything was ok, fully stocked apartment

just had some parking difficulties due to building works and qr code would not work at provided public parking but this got sorted later to satisfaction. OK.

unfortunately not much…

Beds extremely unfortunate, very dirty couches ( see pics) with a funky odor… there was noise every day… we dud not get the room advertised… the parking was not provided until I had to speak with the building manager who is not working for the apartment rental firm…

It was easy to walk to everything in the town, including the train station. Pleasant location by the river. Everything you needed was there in terms of facilities and equipment. Very clean. Any issues were dealt with very quickly.

We were not told that there was a lot of building work going on, that was quite disruptive. The parking situation leaves a lot to be desired.

Location good. As I stated above, needed a total refresh. All rooms needed painting. Shades or blinds needed for living room. Not just because of the workmen on the property but watching TV was difficult with the sun blazing through the windows and no way to control it. Couch worn, needed new cushions.

Answered above. Also all public places needed painting and clean up. The elevators/floors were dirty...very uninviting. Also, having to pick up the key at one location and then get to the apt. with luggage was difficult especially after a long plane ride. If your offer was a bargain price that would be one thing but it wasn't cheap and I was very disappointed and would not recommend your place to anyone.

Not clean (various flies and stains throughout), had to walk through a building site to get to apartment and the keys were 15 mins away! Checked out early and no resolution offered despite me complaining

The location is excellent as it is close to amenities, train station, restaurants etc.

-Only 1 key and door doesn't lock without the key. You need to collect the keys from a shop situated 1km away from the house. -To get to the front door you need to climb stairs and there is no rump or consistently functioning lift, not suitable for children or wheelchair. -The mattress, pillows and bedding are very worn out. The bed didn't have fitted sheets or mattress cover, just 1 sheet too small that didn't fit the bed. Duvet cover was ripped and had holes. -Floors haven't been washed in a long time. -Router and cables were on the floor in the hallway. - Terrace is not usable as decking has been taken up. There is a piece of glass left in there which is dangerous if you have children.

the location is so perfect, everything is close and the center is minutes away. The apartment is so clean and beds were comfy. I am trying to extend but already the flat is sold out! it is nice for long stay.

I guess the hassle I found is regarding collection the key from the Keynest. there is no actual shop called keynest. it is basically a grocery store that has all keys. I wish I had this information beforehand.

We were offered a balcony with "River views" instead we were welcomed by a complete building site and couldnt even open the balcony door as it was restricted by tons of scaffolding. Had to keep curtains shut at all times. Apartment smelt musty, door frame was falling off, surfaces were dirty, sink was broken

After being let down by another accommodation on the day we were due to travel Ferndale properties stepped in and saved the day! Excellent company with superb customer service. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and the building was nice and quiet despite being in the centre of Reading! In the perfect location to explore. Will be returning for sure.

Very clean apartment, great location for everywhere we needed to go. Gorgeous balcony with a lovely view and ducks swimming below.

Property was going through repairs and workmen were a bit noisy first thing in the morning but nothing too intrusive to ruin the overall experience

Spacious, clean, well equipped apartment with balcony right over the canal. Free, secure parking a bonus. 5 mins walk to Oracle shopping centre.

The geese can be a bit noisy at times!

Sadly the mattress was far to soft for me so ended up with back ache and sleeping on sofa
