It’s a beautiful old house, in a lovely setting with walking distance to the center of Pau. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with many homemade delicacies.

The beautiful old villa was full of charm. Sophie and her family were so welcoming and lovely, we felt completely at home.

Villa Dampiere is a lovely colonial-style house close to the centre of Pau. The owners do everything to make you welcome and provide an excellent breakfast with croissants, home-made jams etc. The rooms are large and comfortable - ours was air conditioned, which was nice as the weather was hot. The shower was nice and warm with a good flow rate (important - I've suffered under many a weak shower).

The bed was a bit bouncy for my taste - every time I moved my partner did too!

The villa was a short walk from the centre so car not needed. The room was huge, beautifully decorated, clean and with everything needed. The breakfast was superb, one of the best we have had. Thank you Sophie

Amazing location not far from both city center and road to Toulouse, which is very convenient. Villa is hidden from the road noise and eyes in the beautiful garden. Hosts are nice and welcoming

We really enjoyed the owners. The breakfast, which was 6 Euros, was tasty and as much as we needed. The location was perfect for our needs.

We stayed in 2 spacious rooms with big, comfy beds in a beautiful 19th century house and enjoyed a delicious, copious breakfast there the next day.

beautiful villa, our bedroom was really nice, spacious. in the room there is no fridge, there is possibility to boil water for tee, but in the third floor there is a kitchen for the use of the guests, very charming. Breakfast was good, nice couple taking care of the place. if we go back to Pau I would like to go back there.

The location is maybe not the best but you are quite close to the center and is great you can park the car

The building and property are beautiful. The property is full of palm trees and has a bamboo grove. The building is ornate and lovely from the 19th century or older. Spacious and well maintained.

Optional beakfast was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. For me the house was well located with only a 10- 15 minutes walk to the centre of Pau, for shops restaurants etc. The room was well equipped with a shower, desk and settee

The internet was patchy. I think most visitors these days would prefer a good internet signal. Overall, it was just adequate for emails, web browsing etc. The most frustrating thing was the 'trick' to open the front door with the key. I did not find this at all easy.
