I like this hotel, its my second time here. The room was spacious . clean comfy. The staff were very nice and it has 24 hour reception. It has on site parking and there were no problems booking a space. Its right in the centre of town and we ate at a pub just round the corner.

We didn't take breakfast as I thought 12 euro was a bit strong.

Fairly easy to find, parking area and front entrance off the street at the side. I was able to park my motorbike right in front of the reception window. Nice location near bars and restaurants and the Boulevard des Pyrenees. Reception staffed 24 hrs.

Convenient location to the station and restaurants, plus the centre ville. Helpful staff

Very non- descript room with no minibar and no possibility to make coffee/tea. Forced to pay additionally breakfast to have a coffee. Room at ground floor with « view » on a small courtyard.

It was cold, the light wasn’t good enough, and the floor and the water in the bathroom was really cold.

A persistent and bad odour coming from the bathroom,, I had to ask for toilet paper as none in the bathroom. Stained carpet.

I paid for a 'superior room' and it was very 'inferior'. No value for money. The staff had to do well under appalling conditions. There was construction work going on within the hotel with ladders and open ceilings in the reception area. The plumbing and lack of hot water was horrendous. The hotel should be closed and not accept guests if that is all they can offer. It was a real let down for the lovely town of Pau.

The location is fantastic and central.

The only downside is drunk french screaming outside your window till 4 am the morning. The room is disappointing and not what I expected. The shower is nice though but no pressure at all.

the room was horror ! had a Halloween feeling .. looked like a murder scene not cleaned up well .. no windows .. used furniture .. aged bathroom .. pictures available

Location was good, right in the centre of town.

Sadly, everything else was bad. The road the hotel is in was closed for long term roadworks and they didn't think to tell us this, or offer any alternative directions. Once we finally got there there was no parking at the hotel and they gave us a ticket to park in the public car park up the road - this is good, I can't blame the hotel for roadworks, but lack of comms was very poor. The room hadn't been decorated since the 1960's and I asked how many people had been murdered there and the receptionist just laughed; I'm guessing it was at least a couple from the general state of the room. Overall, we wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent location close to lovely Boulevard des Pyrenees with view of Pyrenees (inconvenient street repairs nearly finished!), friendly helpful staff, Rather disappointing breakfast, but other possibilities nearby. Excellent choice of restaurants nearby for dinner.Ready access to convenient underground parking by the Boulevard.

Breakfast really rather disappointing. Our room on top floor was in dire need of refurbishment. Hotel's main attraction, justifiably, is its location
