Excellent location in the city center, close to restaurants, on a road with restricted access, allowing taxis, Therefore is a quiet place. Very good value for money. It is rated as 2 stars but surely it is more like 3. The staff was cordial and very helpful. The hotel has a lift, it is clean, and has a decent breakfast for the price.

The noise in the square was very loud, ALL night long. The bath and shower had been broken and was badly mended

The room was at the back of the hotel as we wanted somewhere quiet. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bonus was the air conditioning as this meant we could sleep. The city is vibrant and everyone we met was helpful. We did not have breakfast as we wanted to try the local cafes which was really nice as we had some fantastic petit de’jeuner. The hotel was convenient for us to explore the city and see the delights the Pau has to offer. Thank you

Great location

While the hotel was in a great location it was absolutely horrendous to get to. At every turn the roads leading to the square were either blocked or no entry. After eventually arriving at the hotel and speaking to the person on reception they informed me the local authority closes a lot of the roads leading into the square in July and August which left us with one small side street open to reach the underground car park. Other than that i found the rooms very tired and dated although they were clean.

Views from windows over main square. Location excellent. Very warm and attentive staff. Good breakfast. Spacious and airy room. Nice big bathroom.

I stayed for five days. The breakfast was from 7:00 to 10:00. Typical continental breakfast. The hotel is located in the very centre of the city. Aircondition in the room. The staff were friendly, and nothing was missing. I had a great stay.

The hotel is in a great position for the city center. Bed was confortable. In general everything was correct and clean.

The room was correct but in general the hotel needs complete refurbishement. If the windows were repaired they might block out the noise better. Not enough towels. No drink making facilities in the rooms. Breakfast selection was poor with cheap options - no fresh fruit or fresh juice.

Breakfast was not good. For 8 euros pp, I suggest you go to the Boulangerie around the corner. The outside of the building is not at all attractive. It looks like a “dive”hotel. The arrival is not easy. You have to park in Parking Clemenceau. Take elevator to ground level and walk 200 meters to the hotel. GPS was not helpful.

the location is amazing, in the city centre of Pau, 1 minute walking from one of the main square. You have a public parking very near (you have to pay). Very very helpful staff, nice breakfast and comfortable room. I will be back!
