Very nice accommodations. Great neighborhood & within walking distance of the beach at the Grand Hyatt. The pool was very relaxing…we basically had it all to ourselves. I would recommend this property for those looking to stay in Poipu. It had all the conveniences of home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo in the Poipu Kai Resort. Our spacious and comfortable home away from home was conveniently located near a number of beautiful beaches (within walking distance) and the Grand Hyatt resort. Each evening we enjoyed strolling down to Poipu Beach to join the crowds gathered to watch the sunset. Our hosts, Darrell and Ida, were helpful and welcoming, making the check-in process a breeze. They also provided a comprehensive notebook including great suggestions for restaurants and activities on the island. My family and I made many happy memories during our stay.

This is the perfect condo for a family. It has 3 or more beaches and two pools within an easy walking distance with kids. Very clean and quiet condo complex.

Great Location. Easy access to beaches, pools and restaurants. Loved that all the extras you might need for a beach/pool day were available to use in apartment. And a bonus for me, this was the first VRBO that had enough hangers in the closet for me😜. We also loved that the pool the was a few feet from the apartment, rarely had people in it, so was almost like our own private pool!

We had a wonderful time staying in this rental. It was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed for a family vacation at the beach. The pools were great and it was nice to be able to walk down to the beach in the evening and see the sea turtles.

We enjoyed running to the beach every morning from this unit! And each time, we were greeted by sea turtles resting on the sand. Love how close it was to Poipu Beach. Hall closet was furnished with boogie boards, extra towels, mostly all things beach related, and even things you probably didn’t have with you like extra water shoes and bug spray. Convenient to have a washer & dryer in the unit too.

Beautiful property with just a short walk to the beach. Our host was very attentive as well. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Kaui.

Very nice property and great set up for a family with a child. Bedrooms and bathrooms give a lot of privacy for two couples. Pool is close as are several beaches. The closets are well stocked with everything you need!

The condo was clean, easy to navigate and was a great location for Kauai visit. We also enjoyed the pool at which we met some other travelers.

Darrell is very efficient and makes the check in and out process hassle free. Condo provides all necessities needed for your stay. Location is great! 5 min walk to beach, no need to hassle with trying to find a parking spot. Thank-you for sharing this gem with us. Best value in Kauai!!

We stayed here over Christmas and it was amazing. The condo had everything we needed. The beach closet was a nice extra that we utilized daily. We rented a car and were centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Poipu beach was our favorite and we went back to it everyday. The sunsets are superior. Being able to walk to the beach was also a nice treat. We will absolutely book this condo again when we return. Aloha!

This was absolutely a 5 star accommodation. Most important 5 star is the host. Darrell’s pride of ownership shines through in every aspect. The condo was clean and maintained. Darrell’s response time is amazing. And he goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. An example; we rented the condo for a month, so we were going to be doing a lot of cooking at home. I asked him if he had a crockpot there and he said he did but it had a little crack in it. So he told me to go on Amazon and pick a pot that I liked and let him know. And the day we arrived there was an Amazon delivery with the new crockpot that I had picked out. The condo itself was perfect for us. Two couples, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. They have a door in the hallway so you can make the second bedroom and bath into a second master. No AC, no problem. Ceiling fans in every room and portable fans aplenty so you can put them where you need them. The condo sits where the cross breezes come through very good also. The kitchen was well stocked and having the extra little fridge was great. Staying for a month allowed us to shop at Costco and have plenty of room to store everything. One of my favorites was the lanai, it has afternoon shade so that was the place to be almost every afternoon. And the lanai has two tables and eight chairs. Big enough to stretch out on. Location was perfect for us. It’s an easy and every time beautiful drive to any activity or shopping location you need to go. My favorite was our daily morning walks. Five minutes and you were at the ocean no matter which way you headed out. And to see the resting turtles on the beach in the mornings was a real treat. The volunteers that are there to protect them have so much info they are willing to share, so be sure to ask any questions you have. If opportunity allows us to go back, I would book this place in a heartbeat. I know that Darrell would once again make sure we are comfortable and well taken care of.

Everything from communication prior to the rental and the rental itself was seamless. The listing very much reflects the condo and its amenities. The kitchen was more than stocked for cooking most of our meals at the house. We had a crawling infant and the house was perfect for him to move around. The walk to the beach is easy although we did drive when we had lots of gear (thanks to the baby). The pool was lovely and we used it every day. We would happily rent this home again and will recommend it to anybody visiting the area.

The condo was perfect for all our vacation needs. It was well stocked with linens and beach equipment. We loved the location and quick access to the beaches.

What an amazing Stay. Our place was at a great location, within 20 to 30 minutes driving of almost anything. Lovely evening breezes kept our place comfortable. We didn’t use the pool though it was right at our doorstep. Would definitely stay here again. Communication was awesome.

This was exactly the island retreat we wanted. The beach gear made trips to the beach so enjoyable and all the tips and recommendations in the island guide were spectacular. The lanai faced east and always provided a beautiful breeze that kept the condo a lovely temperature.
