We loved this place. The location was great, The best view on the island was literally from our beach. Renting the car along with the villa was super convenient. Alix helped us to make several dinner reservations (we ate at Rudy's twice). The island's jet ski and excursion company is right across the bay (I kayaked over). We also kayaked out in the pitch black night to check out the southern cross, it's really dark at night on the bay, and calm, so that was fun. Really i can't rave enough. We had an awesome time and when we did eat at the Hilton with their over-water bungalos, we were happy to let the honeymooners enjoy those and happily headed back to our gated villa with private beach! Oh, I was able to keep an eye on our kids as they snorkeled out back for hours while I watched from the hammoc on the shaded porch, beer in hand. Thanks again!

First and foremost, I have to give a BIG thank you to Alix for being a great property manager. Before arriving, Alix was able to secure us with a few reservations. Upon arrival, Alix provided us with all of the information we needed to know for you trip. Alix was very informative and friendly.
Property review:
The location of the property was amazing and as advertised. The property was clean upon arrival. The kayaks were located on this property but is hared amongst another nearby property. I didn't have any issues sharing the kayaks and always seems available for us to use. We brought our own snorkeling equipment so we didn't need to use what was offered. 2 of the 3 rooms have AC but since there were only 4 of us, that was not a problem. The water was literally a few steps away from the porch. That bay has a good amount of rocks and from what I was told at one of the excursions, stone fish (poisonous) are known to make that bay their home. Just something to keep in mind. Sandy bottom locations are not known to have stone fish. I didn't see any during our time there.
I am definitely referring this property to family and friends. I hope to return for more relaxation.
THANK YOU ALIX!!!

Great place to stay. We managed to rent a small boat with the property. We went to the lagoon directly from the property and go to coco beach for the day.
Overall amazing stay.

This home was so fun to stay at! It has beautiful views. You can swim and snorkel right in your backyard. It is close to so many things to do and see. We loved the washer and dryer. The outdoor showers were fun and beautiful. The on-site manager was such a big help. My only tip would be to clean up in the kitchen every time you use it to avoid bugs (ants and roaches) Make sure to bring mosquito repellant too. Wonderful place, I would definitely stay there again!
Everything was wonderful. The roaches were a bit of a shock, but pretty common in a tropical place I imagine.

Alix was an excellent host. The house was very clean. The upper loft is cramped. We were comfortable with 4 adults, but it would be tight for 8 adults.

We had the best family vacation at Robinson’s Cove. Our family of 5 stayed in the Cook Villa & it was perfect! Couldn’t ask for better service or location!

Everything about the Villa was perfect. The location and the view were postcard worthy. We were able to cook most of our meals at the villa. Great location. Close to grocery store, shopping, and public beach. The snorkeling in the cove right off the beach was great. Alix was super helpful organizing outings and setting up reservations. Would definitely recommend the Villas at Robinson’s Cove to anyone looking to stay on Moorea!

ABSOLUTE PARADISE!
Upon driving in to the Villa Cook, I started crying! I couldn't believe how close the beautiful ocean was to the house, and that the entire slice of heaven was ours to enjoy for a few days! My kids LOVED the easy lagoon access, and the world of wonder just outside the door. The A/C in the bedrooms ensured we had the best nights' sleep we've had in while! And the house itself was stocked perfectly. We appreciated being able to do a load of laundry (our "plane clothes")! We spent most of the time right out on the covered deck, my daughter swinging in the hammock, admiring the water and mountains. My favorite thing was using the kayaks and paddling out in the bay to get the full 360 view of the mountains meeting the sea! It was absolutely incredible! Alix was a perfect host, she was kind and always at our disposal, yet discreet and allowed us complete privacy. I also GREATLY appreciate the call from Denis before our arrival to fill us in on a few useful tips and information! We all agreed ROBINSON COVE is on our list to visit again and recommend to friends! THANK YOU!
Because you've provided this section for feedback, I have been wracking my brain trying to thing of things that could have made it any better, and I cannot think of a THING! You provided a sufficient amount of towels, plus the dryer was convenient when we just needed to dry them out a bit... The furniture and appliances were in great shape, no complaints there! Maybe the ONE thing could be supplying a sealed canister of some sort to put pantry food in to keep from the ants? The ants are to be expected, they are everywhere on the island. The one day we rolled up an open bag of chips, and realized those little buggars found their way IN the bag and infested the chips! This was easily remedied by keeping everything in the refrigerator for the remainder of the time! Other than that- the stay was truly perfect and we feel so lucky you were able to accommodate us at such last notice!

Amazing, relaxing week in paradise!
The location and views are absolutely unbeatable. I highly recommend renting a car from the property as it couldn't be easier, and some form of transportation is needed on Moorea. Alix is very knowledgeable and nice, and her dogs are so sweet. And finally, the house itself - and the setting - is just incredible! We watched rays and sharks swim past while eating outside each evening. And waking up to the sound of waves breaking on shore was a balm for the soul. We are not usually the types to repeat a trip, but I will definitely stay at the Beach Villa Cook again.
The only disappointment was the prevalence of stone fish which made it slightly dangerous for our 6 year old to snorkel in the rocks just off of the house. However, we found the snorkeling on the public beach, just a 3 minute drive away, to be absolutely amazing, so that disappointment was certainly surmountable.

Sunny and breezy
Great home, great location, great breeze. Traveled to Robinson’s Cove with another couple. Read a review that master suite was bigger than second bedroom, which it is, for us, it didn’t matter at all, who stays in the room?!? Before we got there, we told our besties they could have the master. Outdoor space is where it is at. The house had anything you need, two outdoor bathrooms were great. Alix, local host was great and super responsive. Used their car which also simplified our trip. Cooks bay is known for a breeze which kept us cool when outdoors and also kept down mosquitoes. The place was great!

Wonderful place in paradise
We had high expectations for this place from the beautiful pictures on the website and it didn't disappoint. Everything was great, but we particularly enjoyed the deck area and the private beach upfront. The kitchen is well equipped, three bedrooms and a amazing location close (driving) to many activities in the island. It was perfect. we will be back!
The place was great, the only difficulty is the access to the loft area.

I’ve my toes in the water…
Oh my goodness, we walked out of bedroom on to our private beach. It was amazing. Our Villa was beautifully appointed, everything you would ever need. We had our breakfasts and snacks on the deck. We ate in great restaurants for dinner. Alix, the property manager was so very helpful and discreet. Alix helped us make a reservation to go the Motu for lunch and had great local recommendations. All in all a perfect place to stay. We hope to return next year.

Unbelievable experience! Can’t wait to come back!
Really excited to come back to Robinson Cove. Was such a beautiful experience and place. Amazing snorkeling right outside the villa, and a little oasis of a house.

We had a wonderful time in Villa Cook. My wife and I brought our kids ranging in age from 1 to 11, and they had a terrific time as well. The location is great, right on a spot with plenty of reef where even kids can snorkel and see all sorts of exotic fish and even black-tipped sharks on occasion. Alix, the property manager, was very helpful answering our questions and booking activities we wanted to do. And the whole island of Moorea is drivable and accessible, but Opunohu Bay is in a quiet portion of it which is very nice. Really a great trip, and we would love to visit again. The only thing I can think of is a comprehensive listing of restaurants and availability that would be helpful for people with children, because the hours at many are limited and some might not even be open unless they know guests are coming in advance. The Super U grocery store on Cook’s Bay (and further down the road) make for nice alternatives, though.

Incredible place in Moorea
The house was great, right on water with kayaks. Snorkeling right out the back door.

Wonderful!
We had a lovely stay. The bungalow was very comfortable and spacious. There is a good kitchen, so we could do a lot of our own meals when we did not want to eat out. The location is excellent, convenient to stores and restaurants. And the best part is that we just stepped out onto our beach into the water and had great snorkelling. There is a big coral reef that starts close to shore and there are thousands of fish living there. The water is calm since it is a bay so the snorkelling is easy and the water is warm. Alix the manager is very helpful and is a lovely person. We have stayed here multiple times and will return again.

Villa Cook - book now to have a dream vacation!
Villa Cook was everything we wanted in a tropical vacation. The house is right on the bay with a small beach, with access to snorkeling gear and a kayak, so you really don't need to leave your house to enjoy the water. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed; we especially liked the washer/dryer and the outdoor showers. We went during the very muggy and high mosquito season, so having A/C in the two bedrooms was welcome at night and during the day to get a break from the heat. We rented the car available on site, which made it really convenient.
Alix and Denis were so very helpful if getting us all the information we needed prior to our arrival, and Alix booked everything for us so our excursions were organized upon arrival. We HIGHLY recommend the 3-hour sail on the Polynesian Spirit. Our "captain" ,Herve, took us to swim with the sharks and rays, and to the most beautiful snorkeling areas. Also have Alix make a reservation for lunch at Coco Beach and don't forget snorkeling gear. The hike to the waterfalls was also worth it. Moorea is a beautiful island, not over developed or touristy. Staying at a home was SO much better than a hotel - we really felt like we had our own little piece of paradise. And having Alix on site gave us the peace of mind that we could have questions answered or issues dealt with immediately. A bonus are her two lovely dogs Pepsi and Ciboulet, who my teenage kids fell in love with. You will not regret staying at the Villa Cook.

Relaxing right on the water
My husband and I stayed at Robinsons Cove and really loved it. We choose places based on their proximity to the water and the quality of their lanai. This place did not disappoint! It was nicely appointed, the weather was perfect and the view was beautiful. We will definitely come back! Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us, Denis.

Beautiful little house, a little worn at the edges for the price but tons of charm
Overall we were very pleased with the house, the location and especially the attentiveness of the owner and the manager when it came to all aspects of the rental. The kitchen was well-stocked and the indoor/outdoor flow of the property made it feel bigger than it really is. Thoughtful touches throughout -- like ample lighting and not one, but two outdoor showers really take advantage of the locale. Even when it rained -- which it did quite a bit -- the house never felt cramped. For the price -- which is on the higher side for houses on the island -- the house definitely wanted for a few things. First, the second bedroom is pretty small and if two couples were thinking of renting the house, there is a HUGE disparity between the bedrooms. The house is better suited for one family. The bathroom situation is a little funky -- with the bathroom inside the house being VERY small and hard to share and the nicer, bigger bathroom partially outside so you need to use a code in the door to get back in after using it. Not a huge inconvenience, but definitely a weird trick of the layout and we ended up with our entire group using the more convenient, much smaller bathroom without much room for towels, toiletries, etc. If you are bothered by bugs -- be forewarned -- the property is on the bay and there is lots of foliage so at certain hours there were TONS of bugs. Didn't really bother us but I could see how certain types of people might find it unpleasant to be outside during certain times. That said, we ate all our meals outside and just dealt with it.

High privacy in an marvellous spot
We (4 adults and 2 children - 6 and 8 years old) spent 4 nights in this spacious villa based on a incredible spot, the majestic Opunohu Bay in Moorea.
With it's small private beach, and it's huge slidding bay windows, it's like that there is no partition between inside and outside and this feeling is reinforced with the two classy external bathrooms. The Cook villa is very well located and close to a lot of activities, and kayaking and paddling at sunset and/or sunrise in the still water of the bay was enchanting ! Alix, the concierge is always available and ready to help when needed.
