Nice house in lovely setting. Superb swimming pool.

We enjoyed staying at Swan Villa with our family. Our children LOVED the pool and the space was unique and interesting.

It's a great experience, house is beautiful, great location, has kayaks and bikes, great infinity pool. The design is a bonus!

The two bedroom two bath Lion Fish has a well equipped kitchen, AC and great shower. The only downside is the uncomfortable couch. The Concierge Service was excellent, thanks to Pamela!

It was very clean and unique place with some cool characteristics but no internet that never got fixed with someone kept telling me someone will come. No one came and had our Covid tests scheduled through them that was confirmed and person never came. Which if we where in a time crunch would have been a big problem. There was someone at the front gate for the first hour we where there and the rest of the time no one. The others who checked in through out weekend wondered around lost for a long time and had problems connecting with someone to help them. Which is weird because communication before we got there was a little a excessive but once there not much help. It was unique though, and the grounds and inside where clean.

Lion fish is roughly 15 mins drive outside of Placencia in a nice quiet location. There are ample good restaurants in the immediate vicinity within 5 mins drive. The view across the lagoon having the mayan mountains in the back drop is truly amazing. Onsite security guard was very diligent. Will definitely stay here again.

The waterfront setting is serene. We enjoyed the pool and kayaks.

The villa we stayed in was beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. Even though it’s not right on the ocean the lagoon and mountain views made up for it. The property mentions that there is a security guard at night, however, we only saw him twice out of the seven days we were there. This wasn’t a concern of ours though because we felt safe and comfortable on the property and in Belize in general. It also mentioned that there is a beach across the street (75 yards away) but I really wouldn’t even call this a beach. If you want to spend a nice day at the beach id recommend driving/biking/golf carting down to Placencia beach. When we booked we were so excited to see the place, once we arrived we were blown away with how beautiful the villa was and the rest of the property. We got to utilize the kayaks and we asked for life vest and they were quick to respond with the life vest for us! The pool was relaxing and perfect temperature. They have hammocks that you can lay in right by the pool, which makes it even more relaxing. The only thing I’d criticize is the cleanliness of the villa. It seemed very surface level quick clean wish they did a better job at doing a more in depth clean of the villa. From my understanding the whole property is fairly new so it would be a shame if the housekeeper people don’t keep up with the cleaning of the individual villas. LASTLY my favorite part is the property cat we became friends with. She was so sweet and would keep us company anytime we were outside. Overall I enjoyed staying here and would definitely rebook here again!

This was a great stay for there were not very many people around, had pool and kayaks to ourselves. Felt safe knowing had security all night, great restaurant closeby. Building very unique and lots of fun.

Great setting, extraordinary place, spacious, clean, well-equipped

Enjoyed our stay although the tv/cable in the main room never worked. Pool was hot because of the color of the bottom, never got in it before 6pm and it was warm then, can’t imagine the temp at 4pm. AC worked great. Be advised there is no oven so if you don’t want to fry or microwave you’ll be eating out. The location is great but the structure takes more work to live In than a standard squarish place. If you have to drive through Seine Bight south of the Villas on a weekend night be prepared to crawl through crowds in the street.

Several hundreds of dollars was taken on the first day from this house from my purse that was in a bedroom. There are 5 doors that will go outside and the bedroom door was unlocked when we checked in (we did not know this). The safe was also strangely not working. Unfortunately, the staff is not to be trusted. The man that sprayed for bugs outside was seen by myself and my daughter checking doors to see if they were unlocked. The property is beautiful but that does not make up for the safety issue.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly, the place was spotless and in a perfect (and quiet!) location for visiting Placencia (short 20 min drive), spending the evening looking out over the lagoon at sunset, and basking in the partially shaded wading/swimming pool. Kayaking in the mangroves was just the cherry on top!

This was a fun property for our young daughters and us. They loved the round tub and round bed - the pool was amazing and served as a great place to watch the sunsets.

It wasn’t as buggy as others said, but I would recommend some bug spray in the early evening so you don’t get bit by the noseeums. We only saw 2 scorpions and they were outdoors. These aren’t the deadly type. Just hurt like a bee sting, but you can squish them if you want, just do it with your heel and twist so you really kill them.

Best use for this place would be for 2 couples as there are 2 identical master suites on each wing with shared living room and kitchen in the middle. The round beds are surprisingly comfortable and roomy. The architecture is fun and futuristic.

The rooms were nice and clean. The pool is awesome. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Amazing home close enough, but just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Placencia. A truly wonderful place to relax and recharge. The house is gorgeous, the pool is incredible and the views are spectacular.

I really love the overall design of the buildings and the pool! We love Placencia and Swan Villas was a wonderful place to stay. It was always very calm and our view of the lagoon and the Mayan mountains was the best. Our only criticism was the design of the kitchen fridge and sink. It was impossible to do much there due to the tight space, and the water took a long time to get hot. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and we loved that the Publix grocery store was just a short drive down the road.
Humming birds at our bedroom door every day, and it was fun kayaking in the lagoon. What could be better?

The feeling of being in your own spot while your one of 4 units is amazing. We had a blast in Belize and Placencia. Recommend having a car over a golf cart. Only downside is the pool is really warm with the black bottom and no outdoor grills. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thx!!

The house was amazing and super clean. The owner was easy to communicate with and helped us out during our stay. Recommend renting a golf cart or car as the place is a good bit from placencia village. great place to relax by the pool.

Super cool place, So excited to stay here, Very cool and unique structure. Very Gaudi-like, and creative. Pretty swimming pool, Cool shower. However, the amount of bugs (that we saw) in our rooms over the course of two nights was beyond ridiculous: 3 Geckos, a 10" lizard, 5 large(over 2") spiders, 3 smaller(1") spiders, 3 frogs, 5 flies, a large beetle. The kicker, and last straw for me was the 3.5" scorpion near our luggage, on the counter the last night. We didn't sleep that night, and repacked our bags, the next day, shaking everything out. A very pretty, unique place that is bug central. If they address the bug situation, it would be a nice place to stay.
