Parking was the only challenge, if you drive trucks. Anything longer than a 5' bed on truck won't go into garage. Our 5' bed only fit by backing in at an angle leaving 1/2" clearance at back bumper corners with 1" of space to close garage door. Parking a 2nd truck in garage is equally difficult. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Advertised as 4 bedroom but is really 3 bedrooms. 4th room is a family room with bunkbed added and no closet. Awkward that you have to go through this 4th "bedroom" to get to the backyard and hot tub. We really liked that you could go through the backyard fence into the open space behind.

Neighbors were 30 feet away. One of them complained about our dogs barking for 5 minutes. One neighbor had building materials, personal property, car in yard, 2 cars parked in street which we were told was a code violation, and chickens that made noise. No grass in backyard. Carpet and rugs needed shampooed. Inadequate paper products. House was big and pretty nice with nice kitchen, appliances, televisions, bathrooms, and outdoor grill. Rug was tattered in main bathroom and my wife tripped over it. Close to Pioneer Trail. Beds were comfortable. Might consider some cooling system because it gets hot now and we had to leave from 2 pm to 6 pm. Lots of fans.

It's a lovely home and very comfortable for a family vacation. The garage is small and fine if you drive cars but if you have trucks or large SUV's it's a little difficult. Overall we loved our vacation in this home and would definitely recommend to others!

Some street traffic of locals going to work in morning, and there happened to be a house being built down the street. That can happen anywhere - so there was a little noise sometimes. Easy access via Pioneer Trail to destination locations. House was clean and well supplied. Other than the floor mats in entry and bathrooms, they use Free & Clear no fragrance detergent on the linens, which for me and my sister is super important so we don't get headaches from the toxic fragrance stuff other places use. Also, helps keep Tahoe air clean not spewing toxic dryer sheet stuff into the air. (requested no dryer sheets on linens) RnR was very responsive to our request. Nice open space area on main floor of house, but the deck was the best way to start the day! Birds chirpping away. (Was a little worried about airport traffic, but wasn't a problem at all). Good stay - all n all.

My sons loved the scrabble game (age 27,29) years old. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and the entire house was so spacious, clean and every detail was perfect. They really have everything you can think of if you need something, including spices lol . My family definitely wants to come back to this place our favorite!

Super clean and the description of all the amenities, location and layout were spot on. We were welcomed with a wonderful gift box full of yummy treats. At the entrance, they provided dog bowls, a feeding mat and potty bags which were perfect for our little girls. The yard large was a great area for our pups to romp around in. We enjoyed one of the puzzles they provided for us and wished we could have stayed longer to finish it! We were in Tahoe for a hockey tournament and it was an easy distance to the South Lake Tahoe Ice Rink and minutes away from grocery stores. We ventured out towards Emerald Bay for short hikes and stopped for a couple of scoops of ice cream at the Camp Richardson's Ice Cream Parlour, a must do when in the area. Maria's Mexican Restaurant and Sprouts Cafe are our favorite haunts while in SLT. It was a pleasurable experience and a lovely stay at this wonderful cabin. We would love to make this a yearly vacation spot!

House was comfortable and as advertised. However the house next door was unkept, trashy, and an eyesore. With all the rules, regulations, and threats of fines one would think there would be compliance throughout the neighborhood.

The house was very nice. The neighborhood was great! We enjoyed our stay. RNR was very responsive and responded to our request quickly. The only part that could use improvement is the cleaning. We are charged a cleaning fee for cleanup of the rental after we leave so that this property is ready for the next family. We found an open beer bottle with beer in it in one of the rooms. It was knock down and spilled by on of guest. Also a crayon rolled under the cart by the stairs and when we went to retrieve it, there was old food underneath.

Our experience at the house has always been great. This is our second year in a row renting this house. We love the layout and it’s close to town and the casinos. This year there was so much snow and we loved it. The snow was 4’ deep on the balcony and there’s was no place to sit, so my grandson helped me carve a couch and love seat for us to sit on during our stay.

This is a beautiful home located in a nice quiet neighborhood just off of Pioneer Trail. The house is very clean and stocked well with everything you will need for your stay. The ice maker was not working at the time of our stay, but the rental property was nice and offered to drop a bag of ice off to us. Hopefully they have that small detail fixed by now. Other than that we didn't have any issues and really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Please note that the house does not have A/C so it can get a bit warm during the summer months, especially in the upstairs portion of the house. (we were there in August) They do have ceiling fans and other small fans in the house to help. We just opened the windows and sliding door in the morning and tried to cool it down before it got too warm. Coffee out on the deck in the morning is priceless... :)

We had a great trip to South Lake Tahoe. This is a wonderful and comfy home to stay in. Away from the hustle and bustle but only 10-15 minutes away from restaurants and activities.

This place was perfect for our nine day family vacation. Super clean, super nice, fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, trash bags, etc.), responsive hosts, and wonderful location! Would 100% recommend and we’d definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying in this home. Both times I have been impressed with its cleanliness and attention to detail. I loved that they provided a gift basket of wine and snacks upon our arrival and even had a basket with pet necessities for our dog! USB outlet chargers were a plus too. Though we didn’t bring ours, I liked that they had an EV charger for electric vehicles and I liked that the garage was available to use for parking. We will definitely stay here again.

The parking lot for the California Lodge is less than 10 minutes away, groceries (Raleys) are less than 10 minutes away, and getting into SLT was also super easy. The Hot Tub was hot, and the house was spick-and-span clean before we got there. I'd be hard pressed to think of even just one thing I would change ... I'd definitely stay here again!

We come to South Lake Tahoe every January for my wife’s birthday. We usually bring our daughter and son-in-law our two grandkids and our dogs. This has by far been the best and nicest home we’ve stayed in. Everything about it it’s great. Close to town , casino’s and ski resort. We will definitely come to this house again.
