Great House,Great time had by all

Great location and lots of space for everyone.

The Coach House was our answer to finding lodging for 14 people coming from Kansas to have a wedding. The cabin was very easy to get to and very comfortable for everyone in our group. Inside we found a cozy environment for all of us to spend three days together, never once did we feel cramped or too close to each other. Dishes and utensils were provided as expected, but in addition, there were many extra small appliances (crock pot, griddle, etc) that we definately put to use. As people have come and gone, they have left thongs in yhe house such as seasonings and coffee filters (there are enough filters to last a year or so). We would love to stay here again of the opportunity arises. Also, in the drawer next to the fridge, there are a bunch of can coozies that people have left. Bring one ftom your area and throw it in the drawer for fun. Ours says #TK and 9/23/23 (Our wedding day)

The club house is walking distance from the house and activities, grocery shopping, and gas are only a 10 minute drive away. Other attractions are 30 minutes to 2 hours away depending on what you are looking to do. We had a fantastic vacation!

We had an amazing Sturgis bike week at this residence. Owner had great communication with us. House was just as described and was perfect for our group of 11 adults. Plus the clubhouse was right out our back door.

It was a beautiful cabin and clubhouse, but majorly lacking in cleanliness. We stayed in The Coach HouseJune 23-25-Floors were not swept or vacuumed (popcorn, toenail clipping, pebbles, dirt)-Sliding glass doors had handprints and smeared grime all over them. -Rugs were dirty-Dishwasher leaked and continually needed to be mopped up while running.- Beds did not have mattress pads on them and pillows were in rough shape. -Hot tub cover was broken and the hot tub was filthy. Thick brown goop along the inside. (Unusable)-Club House and pool were really dirty (Overflowing garbages and backed up bathroom toilets). The hot tubs were cloudy and had a brown film. The main pool also had a brown grime all around the edge and clearly had not been cleaned in some time. We were worried about getting sick from the pool and hot tubs. It looked like it should have been shut down until cleaned. This place could have been so amazing, but the lack of cleanliness was a major disappointment and really put a damper on the vacation. I hope you and your team will address these issues moving forward. I texted the managers, but never received a response. I have pictures of the above issues for their review.

Lovely home in beautiful surroundings. It was clean but just the basics. Definitely needed a deep clean. There were broken doors locks as well. Just piddly things that wouldn't keep us from renting again from this company.

The hot tub on the deck and the community pool were awesome after a long day hiking. We never saw anyone using the sauna while there and were disappointed by the condition and smell of the sauna so didn't heat it up ourselves.The kitchen had tons of supplies which was great. The house does need a really good cleaning. The moose and deer antlers are super dusty. Sink in upstairs bathroom takes a LONG TIME to drain. Some complained about the beds and others thought they were fine. We had one issue with the TV and the manager responded right away. The location is great for nature lovers! About 25 minute drive to nearby waterfall hikes in Spearfish Canyon. If you are a strong hiker looking for adventure we strongly recommend the Devil's Bathtub! Note that you are a good hour drive away from Mount Rushmore, Needles Highway, Crazy Horse so there is some planning ahead if you stay in Lead. Jewel Cave was 1:20 away but worth the drive!Lead has a great grocery store that offers everything you will need along with nearby liquor store and restaurants. You can easily walk to the Boar's Nest for a delicious meal and excellent seating right on the water!Would recommend to friends but would share the issues with them for awareness.

The Deadwood cabs had no problems picking us up and taking us home. These cabins are the only places I stay when in the Deadwood area.

We came for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and it was a weekend to remember. This cabin had plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the basement and it is located in such a beautiful area. Highly recommend.

Was a great choice for our pre Sturgis trip, neighborhood was great house was awesome.

I understand these places are always rented out with very little time in between guest. Either more time needs to be between to get the place cleaned or more people need to be hired to clean it. Renting through VRBO is a breeze and makes it easy. Location for the attractions we were see was perfect. The house itself slept all of us comfortable. Bring extra towels and washclothes if you book this place. The pictures are winter pictures, do not plan on having a yard to do anything in. I was a little disappointed in that but we made due with the club house area to have the kids outside and we were able to go for walks around the neighborhood as there is little traffic going through. We did not have a greeting list when we got there it took a couple hours to get Wifi password and I had to ask for the closing expectations. Text messages with the host were mostly answered but not as timely as I would have liked. We will not be renting a house ran by this management company again.

Overall a very good experience. The facilities available were a nice bonus and we loved the sauna and pool. More than enough room for the 9 people we had along. The only small issue was the dish washer was not able to be used as the seal was broken.
