Pool and location were awesome

The house was amazing. Roomy everywhere. The kids lived staying in their own house. Proximity to the open water and the beach is perfect. Just a wonderful place to stay!!!!!

Celebrating early Thanksgiving with our family from across US. Plenty of room for everyone. Good fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. Spent hours in and around the pool. Property was in a good location for boating. Sharks and manatees in the canal. Nice stay.

WOW! This rental is amazing!! This property is all you need for a perfect vacation in The Keys! The pool, dock, outdoor kitchen, and tiki hut let you know you’re in the keys and provide the perfect vacation without ever leaving the property. The house and cottage are impeccably clean and extremely well decorated. All amenities are high end, including appliances, furniture, and fixtures. The 3 bedrooms in the main house are very private, with each having their own full bath. This is the perfect location to give your family or friends a true taste of the relaxation and fun of the Middle Keys. The owner was easy to contact and always responded immediately. You will not find a better house or owner in The Keys. Rent this house!

This was the perfect place for a relaxing family vacation! The home is spacious and the backyard and pool are absolutely stunning-a private oasis. The owner was responsive and helpful. We are definitely planning to return next year!

Spend a memorable week with our family in this Marathon, Florida gem. Plenty of room, heated pool, dock to fish and kayak from. Caught mutton snapper, catfish, ladyfish and small grouper. We used the kayaks several times and docked our rental boat for 3 days. Walked to Sombrero Beach and watched a turtle release. Kitchen is equipped with anything you can think of and a propane grill covered with a tiki hut! Outdoor sound system via the sonos app was awesome. We spent a large amount of time in the pool. Publix and K-mart (fishing license) at the end of the street. Thanks to the Blum family for sharing their little slice of paradise!!!

We stayed for two weeks and couldn't have been happier. Property was exactly as described. Back yard was extremely private, house was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. Publix and K-Mart so close was an added bonus. Bill was extremely accommodating and answered my texts very quickly. He and his wife even helped us get ESPN working on the main TV remotely just before the game started even though they were cheering for the other team...now that is great hospitality! Concrete dock was beautiful and easily accommodated our 24ft boat we rented. We saw a stingray completely jump out of the water in front of our boat, got a glimpse of a manatee, sea turtle and a dolphin. We caught MANY fish, including a 2-ft hammerhead shark! The iguanas, hermit crabs and geckos were fun to watch. They would visit frequently and "hang" with us at the edge of pool. I recommend this property to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Every year we go to Marathon for our family vacation. This year we traveled with 2 other families. The accommodations very perfect. We have stayed at many different rental properties over the last 10 years in Marathon. This is absolutely the best place we have ever rented. Very clean, well stocked with towel and linens. Thank you to the owners for sharing their property with us! We will definitely be returning.

This was a great property to stay in. We had 2 families and we had plenty of space. Loved the outdoor area, pool size was perfect-although the water was very warm, nice in cooler months but no so refreshing in the summer, despite that, we used the pool every day and night-probably one of the larger pools of any house I searched in Marathon. Very private too. Kitchen had everything we needed. Fridge was large and we had the other fridge in the small cottage if we needed more space. Loved the 2 ice makers-they came in extremely handy. We rented a boat for4 days while we were there. Docking can be a little tricky, but we figured it out. House is very close to the open water, but parts were very shallow so be careful going out. House is in a residential area so it's nice and quiet. This house had everything we needed and then some! The only thing I would change in this house would be to add more seating to the living area...there is a large couch, but still plenty of room to add a couple of large comfortable chairs. On another note, we noticed a pretty bad smell outside when we first got there...noticed it on the way down as well-turns out when the winds are coming from the south, it blows decaying sargassum (brown sea algae) into the islands. Sombrero beach was nice, but so much seaweed was blown onto shore and the smell was awful so we didn't spend any time there. This has nothing to do with the property, just an FYI. There was an issue with the air conditioning and the property manager responded to us right away and got the issue fixed. We really enjoyed staying at this property and will definitely be back for a visit in the future! We had 2 families with four kids staying here. The adults stayed in the main house along with the oldest child (17) and the other 3 kids stayed in the cottage (11, 13 and 14)-they loved having their own space away from the adults! It was a perfect set up for us. Again, we will definitely be back and stay here again!

The home was perfect and the back yard was even better than perfect.... Tropical Paradise... Most of our time was spent sitting at the table under the tiki hut and in the pool listening to music.... Great music system and speakers... The manatees, lizards, and crabs put on a show everyday for us. The house and yard are very clean and well kept... The out door grill area was clean and plenty of gas. We used the grill a lot... The location is good very close to shopping and a sand beach was just down the road ... My group consisted of five couples we had plenty of room and lots of fun... Do know if your group is over eight there will be an up charge a pretty hefty up charge!!! Over all booking was easy check in was easy owner was easy to work with and security deposit was retuned... I would book this Tropical Paradise again... Shari Jones

This property is beautifully maintained and it was so nicely laid out that everyone had their own privacy when needed. The location is perfect for boating with easy deep water access to both the Gulf and the Atlantic. The property was missing nothing - it was just perfect. The pool was very warm - almost too warm, but it sits all day in the Florida sun. Beware of lots of Iguanas! We named one "Gramps" - he often came out and watched us in the pool or sat with us on the pool deck while cooking out. My only complaint is that whoever is contracted to pickup recycle material never showed up. We'll definitely be back!

We were 5 couples from various locations getting away for varying lengths of time. Some stayed 2 nights, some 4, and the rest of us stayed 7 nights. The most repeated sentence of the entire trip is "this is a GREAT house"! The pool and tiki hut were the hot spots for gathering, and we fished right in the canal. I hooked a shark there! I'm not a big fan of crowded Key West, so I didn't care that it was an hour away. But several of us made trips there for various reasons, and the guys did a fishing trip from KW one day. They caught lots of snapper and the captain gave us mahi mahi to take home and cook on the grill outside. Drogon, the massive iguana, visited daily! (DO NOT FEED THE LIZARDS - Florida rules, y'all!) All of the bedrooms were well appointed and super comfortable. Nice bathrooms. Good kitchen for a crowd. We enjoyed every single minute and aspect of our vacation here! THANK YOU, BILL! Thank you Bill and Monique for use of your beautiful home away from home. We have never enjoyed the Keys so much. This trip was the first Keys trip to include our 4 adult children and we could not have picked a better location. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and Saturday comes way too fast. We hope to visit this amazing place again soon.

House and cottage was perfect for our extended family. Teenagers had their own space in the cottage and loved it as did rest of family. House and grounds are maintained in impeccable condition and owner is extremely responsive and available to address any concerns or answer questions. Just minutes to grocery, restaurants, etc. including walking distance to Sombrero beach. Ocean access is literally 5 min from dock and fishing is always great. This year produced a huge White Marlin! A trophy and lifetime memory. Thanks Bill for use of your home and we look forward to our return next year.

Thank you Bill for allowing us to stay in your Marathon Key location! The house is gorgeous and in a great location for water, beach, and shopping access. This location is minutes away from two big grocery stores (Publix and Winn Dixie), as well as a Kmart store. Bill and those who work for him were prompt to our every request. Their response time was next to immediate. There was a fire in the area the week we stayed, and Bill contacted us to let us know about road closures. How great is that? The house is a great size for multiple families who both enjoyed time together, and needed time apart. What is better than four bathrooms! The ability to use kayaks and paddle boards at a whim was wonderful. And we enjoyed having the pool to ourselves, along with plenty of places to lay out. The outdoor speakers are a nice touch. The outdoor grill was easy to use and my BBQ chicken turned out perfect. There were plenty of plates, bowls and utensils. The kitchen is well equipped and the two tea drinkers in the party appreciated the tea kettle as it is seldom found in rentals. There were baskets just inside the patio doors filled with beach towels! This was fantastic for those of us who pack light for flying. I should note there were hair dryers too. Additionally, it was great to have every light switch labeled. Super helpful. When the Keys come back around as our vacation destination, we will be certain to look at Bill’s place first.

First of all, I wished we could own this beautiful beach vacation home!!!! It was exactly as described, fully stocked and the pictures do not do justice for the feel of the "openess" for the inside of this home or for the outside by the pool, tiki hut, or outside grilling area! It even has an ice machine and wet bar inside, perfect for our margaritas! Our family truly had the best vacation at this home, kids loved the kyacks and paddle boards provided and the dock fit our 27' boat perfectly. We loved the secluded feeing of this property too! Thank you Mr. Blum for being so wonderful to work with and easy to get a hold of. We will be booking again for next summer☀️

We had an amazing extended family vacation. The house is very spacious and the separate guest house allowed more privacy. Outdoor area is the best part. Lovely pool, plenty chairs, comfortable chaise lounges and a large dining table under tiki hut. Large grill which made cooking easy. Plus comes with paddle boards and kayaks. The best is it is on a canal not far from the ocean. So fishing was great. Saw a couple of nurse shark and one day my son caught and released ~4 ft shark right from the dock. My daughter appreciated the manatee and one day one followed her and my son home on the paddleboards. We turned on the hose and gave him some fresh water and he stayed a long time drinking and rolling over right next to my kids on the paddleboards - Priceless. Location is great, short walk to Sombrero Beach and short drive to grocery stores etc. And Bill was a pleasure to deal with from day 1. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home and for your professionalism. Family wants to come back.

This is our third year in a row renting this beautiful home. In the past year the owners have installed all new doors and windows, a new ac unit and redid both master bathrooms. They also included 2 new paddle boards for our enjoyment. Our family vacations continue to get better and better. The owners of the property really care about it and about the people they rent to and it shows. Every interaction with them has been a pleasant one. Last year during our stay the dryer broke on day one by day three we had a brand new dryer delivered and installed. Our first year staying here we made the mistake of leaving the hose run which is a huge no no and costed the owners a few hundred dollars increase in their electric bill. To say the least I'm sure they were not happy and we felt just awful. We offered to pay the difference but they would not allow it and continued to be pleasant and treated us like family. I will always be grateful for their kindness and it means a lot and for that we will continue to rent from them year after year and enjoy their beautiful home. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Blum for sharing. I hope this helps in making your decision to rent.

My family ranked this vacation as one of our favorites. This spectacular home and setup gave the teenage kids their own house and the adults their own area to enjoy. The outdoor area was our hot spot. We absolutely loved the pool, the shaded tiki area and the grill. After a long day of fishing our fishermen brought back a ton of fish for us to cook up and that grill area made it easy to cook and clean up. The kayaks that Bill had available for us to use were great. Adults and kids both had the opportunity to kayak through the canal and the ocean. We got to enjoy a manatee visit one night and were grateful that the dock was so big so that we all could see this amazing creature at the same time. The area was perfect. We were close to Publix and the liquor store. There was a sanctuary right across the street from Publix where we got to see Osprey, fish and lizards. My son and I got to take some awesome photos there. Restaurants were nearby, too. The Cracked Conch Cafe doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was amazing. Large portions and reasonable prices made that a family favorite. We took the drive down to Key West three times during the week. There was so much to see. It was a fun place to shop, see the boats and grab a nice cold beverage or two. On our last day we hit up one of the many beaches between Marathon and Key West. We got to snorkel, swim in that gorgeous water, enjoy the beautiful beach and have an all-around spectacular last day. This home was a great place for our vacation. We got to spend time in a beautiful area of Florida that we had never been to. This home offered us all that we needed to make this one of our best vacations to date. We look forward to returning. Perfect fishing buddy getaway place. Quickest run to the Hump of anywhere on Marathon, and very close to Publix Market and the liquor store. Easy run around the corner through beautiful mangrove channels to 7 mile bridge. Super private, quiet, house will all the amenities. Nice pool. A bit thin water coming in at low tide, but very navigable if you follow the marked channel...we put a 34' Regulator there with no problem, with room for another 24' boat at the spacious dock. Tiki hut made for well needed shade. Bill was very gracious and helpful, his staff even brought us over a bait car to keep our live bait at the dock. We'll be going back!

Our family just returned from a week at Bill's property on Tingler Lane. Everything was as described but even better. Even though the house is older, it is in great shape with many updates. Our group of 8 had plenty of space between the main and guest houses as well as outside on the beautiful grounds. The houses are well equipped with current technology (if you choose to use it). We used the tiki hut and beautiful grill/outdoor cooking station daily. We tended to eat dinner inside in the evening but started out day outside with breakfast due to the beautiful view and relaxing grounds. The natural habitants kept us entertained- several iguanas, various lizards and stone crabs were just as curious about us as we were about them. The dock is awesome and we rented a boat from Kathy at All About Boat Rentals based on Bill's suggestion. We were very happy with the boat and service there. Fishing and snorkeling are great right out in the ocean from the property. Restaurants and shopping close by. Sombrero Beach and park is great but we found our private oasis so nice we only went to the beach once. The many state parks close by offer other fantastic sights. We celebrate our daughter's birthday when in the Keys with a Hummingbird cake from Sugarloaf Bakery on Summerland Key. Bill provides plenty of good information on local vendors and we found his recommendations trustworthy. Highly recommend this property for groups and family vacations!!

Our family completely enjoyed our week in this location. The house was great! It was very large so we had plenty of room for everyone. We loved having the heated pool and the whole family made maximum use of it. Our grandson caught several fish and three small nurse sharks that we promptly threw back. What a thrill for him, and us, and we keep reliving it through pictures. We enjoyed grilling outside and eating under the tiki hut. We enjoyed all the privacy the back of the house offered. Great location to make a day trip to Key West. Great restaurants nearby and we loved the park around the corner. I would definitely recommend it and hope we get to go back soon.

We vacationed with our family of 10 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. Great location on Marathon Key. The house, pool and grounds are amazing. We loved using the 2 kayaks to explore the canals and ocean. Got up close with 2 manatee's that came by daily. Beautiful views of the ocean from the dock. We charted a fishing boat and caught enough fish for all 12 of us to eat 3 times. Got good use of the awesome outdoor grill under one of the two Tiki Hut's. Great Times! Would highly recommend to others!
