Had a lovely time visiting Chattanooga. The house was perfect for our needs.

This home was comfortable, clean and charming. It was nice to have three bedrooms. I loved having the en suite for the master. We had everything we needed.

We stayed two nights, It’s a very clean house on a side road only a few miles from an Interstate. Good restaurants nearby. Very quiet with good temperature control and a good kitchen. We liked the decor.

Very quiet area ..large yard for our grandkids to roam and ou little fur baby... Internet for TV kept going out but otherwise we loved it

We booked this house for a short family vacation to Chattanooga for spring break. We did not want to stay in the city but we wanted to be close. This is perfect! The setting is peaceful and serene with mountain views behind the house. We even saw wild turkeys in the yard in the mornings. We were able to drive downtown in 15 minutes and explore the city. There are restaurants close by if you don't feel like cooking. We utilized the well-stocked kitchen and had family dinners at the house. I will definitely be saving this for our future trips to Chattanooga.

Everything was just as advertised, at the end of a dead end road, very peaceful, wild Turkeys in the neighbor's yard, John next door was very helpful in finding us another way to get home instead of driving through Atlanta, make sure Taylor or Stephanie tells him that. If ever wanting to stay in Hixson again, this would be the place, our daughter found it and it surely lived up to the description on VRO also close to Chattanooga, where we ate at Hi Fi Clydes, very good restaurant, thanks again Taylor and Stephanie

Wonderful week vacation! House was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Property is in a lovely setting, quiet and peaceful, and access to shopping, restaraunts, etc. within 15-20minutes. Highly recommend.

We LOVED the Redhouse and everything about our stay! The house is so welcoming and charming, very clean. Our host was more than nice and super accommodating. The community is quiet and quaint as described but not too far from downtown and activities. Will definitely come back for more family memories!

If you are looking at this listing just book it! The house is perfect! It is far enough out that it is quiet and relaxing but close enough to get to anything you could ever need. Stephanie is one of the best hosts we have ever had! We hope to be able to stay again’

I took my mom for her birthday to see her sister and family! This house was perfect!! We are from Az so the heavy wooded area was amazing!! Loved the front porch swing and the screened in porch the back!! Big functional kitchen, and just and over all great comfortable place to be in! Would recommend to anyone and we will definitely stay again!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Third time that we have come here, and definitely will be back. Quiet, peaceful and just 20-30 minutes away from downtown Chattanooga. Has everything there you would ever need in the kitchen,. Enjoyed sitting in the front porch swing, and we got to bring the family dog. Definitely 5 Stars

Three senior ladies. This is a very homey cottage. We had everything we needed there. Really nice, quiet neighbor hood in the country yet close to the city. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Host is fabulous and easily accessible! This was our second stay there and most likely we will do it again!!

I stayed at the house for two weeks. It was a great stay. Very much worth the price. The location is in the country, but very close to town!

The home was very welcoming. They had fresh flowers on the table, moon pies and waters, along with complimentary shampoos and soaps if needed. The home was very spacious with my absolute favorite part being the screened in back porch! Highly recommend if your looking for a quietly peaceful stay not to far from town but outside enough to be away from the traffic noise and lights.

Things We Loved: Quiet environment in the country amongst the hills, 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, convenient access to stores to buy supplies while staying (like Target), host was very accommodating and even provides a rundown of local favorites and hiking trails, the house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Things We Weren't Nuts About: This is out of the host's hands, but you should be aware if bringing a dog to watch for the poison ivy along the roadside - in fact, poison ivy seems to be everywhere in Chattanooga (or maybe we had bad luck). Ants show up quickly, so make sure to not leave any dirty dishes in the sink. Overall, this was a wonderful stay. If we come back to Chattanooga and this is available, we'll rent here again. 5/5 stars

What an awesome property! Just as described, quiet house on a dead end street - yes it was & it was perfect. What an awesome area to visit as well, we like exploring caves & caverns & this area & TN. has a bunch. Thanks Stephanie for an awesome rental for our first VRBO experience. Definitely rent from you guys again. 5stars all day for this house & owners.

It felt like I’d gone back to my childhood days on my grandparent’s farm. Loved sitting on the front porch in the swing early in the morning with my coffee. The location was great and the cottage was clean and well supplied.

We loved this location at the foot of Signal Mountain. The house was perfect for the 4 of us and both our dogs!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The home is precious and the setting is beautiful. You can enjoy the front porch swing and see wildlife in your yard!

We absolutely loved our stay in Chattanooga and this rental just made it even better. The cabin was perfect from the porch swing and the fully stocked kitchen to the screened in porch and the fire pit. The Taylor's realized we were low on fire wood and immediately brought a load for wood, and some fire starter, over so we could enjoy s'mores that evening. We were minutes from grocery stores and restaurant, only 20 minutes to all of the sights in Chattanooga but, still felt like a cabin in the middle of nowhere. If/when we come back to Chattanooga we'll definitely return to this perfect little cabin.

The Redhouse was actually better than I anticipated. It was super peaceful, safe neighborhood. The house was very spacious. Will definitely book every time we come to Chattanooga.

We were in the country, but also very close to the city and plenty of places to eat and things to do. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the quiet countryside.

This farm house is in a lovely neighbor, where you can watch wild turkeys and listen to the birds on the screened-in porch. The host was very responsive when the neighbor's power went out briefly. The only things I noticed, is the ceiling fans and most of the ceiling corners in the home need to be dusted and cleaned. There were multiple cobwebs in most of the rooms. Otherwise the house was clean. It would be very nice if there were toilet paper holders in the 2 bathrooms. It was difficult to reach the shelves over my head and behind me. My friends and I had a lovely stay.
