No lamps in family room, nor any outlets for lamps. The room echoed badly because it needs rug, etc to absorb noise. We felt the house was not quite ready for rental.

Our family had a great time at this perfect location. Sidewalk to beach across the street and Lazy Days umbrella/chair rental made the days spent on the beach more than wonderful. When we were done with the beach the pool was refreshing. Close to restaurants and shopping and plenty of areas to go for a jog or a bike ride. The property management company was so easy to work with. The deck around the house was showing some age, but other than that this was perfect for our family of 6 adults.

The only downside was finding several roaches in the house :(

We enjoyed the pool and deck areas very much! There was plenty of room for lounging in the living area for our group of 10... nice big dining table, too! Lots of pantry storage and comfy beds! No bathtub on main level for kids though. Would definitely stay here again if there is outside lighting added to the stairs and grilling areas.

We did not realize the pool was not heated which was a disappointment too.

It was still sunny and the kids had a blast in the pool! The house was clean, spacious, and fit our needs perfectly. The property management company, Paradise Beach Homes, was very responsive when we contacted them about cleaning the pool because a ton of sand blew into it overnight. They were also so kind when I forgot some of my belongings in one of the bathrooms. I emailed them to ask if anyone had found them. The cleaning crew did find them and the rental office staff shipped them to me.

This pet-friendly place was perfect. A 1-2 minute walk to the beach, private pool, very spacious house and a stocked kitchen made this place ideal for our group. There were 3 families (6 adults, five kids and a dog) in our group and we had plenty of space and plenty of fun. I brought extra kitchen items just in case so we wouldn't be out of luck when it came to cooking, but I definitely didn't need to. They have baking sheets, frying pans, pots, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, a Keurig and a drip coffee machine (with filters), a blender, and a toaster. The only thing I noticed that was missing was hot pads for pulling stuff out of the oven. We ended up just using the dish towels for that. The pool was perfect and grill was functioning. As some previous reviews have stated, the deck could use some work, it's chipping and there are rusty nails and some that stick out. We just made sure the kids had shoes on if they went on the deck. The garage/basement had a bit of an odor but nothing unbearable. We kept the garage door open to the pool the whole time so it aired out quickly. There is also a beach tent to use, which was great! Our group brought a few blow-up pool floats and noodles and we left them there for the next crew! Check-in and check-out was a breeze and communication with the management company was great. We will definitely be back!

I mentioned that it was 5:02 and she said that 5:00 pm is not guarantee to be able to get the house. I thought that was strange. But the problems: most of the inside doors did not close properly, the house was unlocked downstairs when we arrived, there was no way to securely lock the house as the garage doors could be opened by hand and the downstairs door did not lock, the deck lights were only slight at best, the floors were filthy-there was sand and the corners were full of grime, a lot of the dishes were also dirty and had to be washed before using, the dishwasher was non-functioning and we killed about 30 roaches in the kitchen, the bedrooms had only slight shading from the sun.

The property is well maintained and updated. We had a total of 9 in our group-5 adults and 3 teenagers. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of storage. The upstairs bunk room shares the bathroom with the master suite and the only access is through the master suite. Outside deck seating was plentiful. Pool was a great size for our group. The downstairs garage area has the laundry and an extra refrigerator which is perfect for storing extra ice and drinks. The only comment I have is that we couldn’t open the garage door coming in from the driveway. It would have been nice to have open for easier entry when coming in from the beach. Outdoor solar lighting on the stairs would be helpful as others have noted. Overall a very nice property for a group up to about 10.

The pool filter was not working right, and the auto-fill was pouring sand into the pool. The large upper level deck is in bad shape with many boards feeling loose as you walk on them. Inside the house, the furniture was showing lots of wear and tear as well. It's sad how guests can't be trusted to take care of a property anymore. When you combine that with the odd 4th bedroom which is really a bunkroom that is part of the master, the value is just not there. This was once a good rental, but we won't be back as there are other newer properties in better shape all around.

I called on a friday to get a house for Saturday! Mona was wonderful, she explained the booking process and expedited our reservation to ensure we had a house to stay in. The house itself is excellent location...literally on the beach in less than a minute. The house was big, but definitely full of unfinished edges and cheap workmanship. The bunk room off the master bath is odd. However, I would still recommend this house for families and those wanting to be very close to the beach.
