It was better than I expected. The property was clear and comfortable. Staff was ok.

The elevator seems dangerous. Also I stayed at the fourth floor. The room felt claustrophobic since the windows were up above.

Location- very easy to find being next to the Teatro de Fenice. Easy walk to many of the places and sights we wanted to see. The artist theme was charming and we enjoyed all the little touches that made this a boutique hotel.

One of the front desk clerks was less hospitable. The older man with grey hair and silver glasses was excellent and helped us so much with our bags to the water taxi location. I was with my elderly mother and it was a big help to have another assistant!

staff could be friendlier. breakfast should be well improved. there should be hotel slipper, hairdrier, iron, cattle for a hot tea, complementary water etc. there were none of these unfortunately

it had warmth and was charming I especially enjoyed the collection of very good artwork in many areas of the hotel.

would have enjoyed lunch OR dinner also.

The location was great, the staff was very helpful with locating restaurants and confirming my water taxi. The free breakfast with fresh cappuccino was quite good. Interesting look with art of all styles scattered around the hote.

The bathrooms were small, and the showers were even smaller. We had two rooms - one for my wife and I and one for my two adult kids (both one the first floor up - one above the ground floor). Our room was OK, but the kids room next door had a pretty bad odor (room 108). Opening the windows helped some, but it never went away.

pretty small room. the guy at the front desk also told me they have a ‘policy’ where they have to hold onto your room key for you before you leave the hotel. he was really reluctant to let me hold onto my key which I thought was a bit of a flag. I was staying by myself so this made me a bit nervous.

The location was great. It had an elevator which was handy, but very slow. Good shower.

Windowsill thick with dust. Air conditioner not working, they only informed when we asked for remote control. The twin beds that we had booked were two badly made beds together, when we moved apart to seperate them (as had not set up as twin) the both wobbled and squeaked a lot. Overpriced for what you get.

Staff very friendly & helpful.It was my daughters birthday.The staff left a little card& a present in the room for her.

Aircon wasn’t working&The room was a bit too warm. The bed cld have been more comfortable.

The location was great, easy walk to all of the major sites. Quiet at night, slept with the window open just fine. Staff was great with directions. Breakfast was convenient and a great value.

The booking said self service laundry but the only laundry service they have is for it to be sent out and really expensive. Luckily we found self service laundymat nearby

the hallways were always cluttered and unsafe. they’re doing work and equipment are all over the very narrow hallway between my room and the stairs/lift.

This older hotel had a certain charm and staff were welcoming.

I was disappointed with our room allocation, and it was unlike the illustrations, rather lacking colour. It faced the sheer wall of the opera house across a narrow alleyway that could at times be noisy.
