Great place nice and peaceful, cabin was well stocked with everything we needed

Comfortable and a nice home.

We stayed here with another family, 8 children between the two of us. The house was clean and well-stocked with all sorts of activities to keep us entertained. Julie was responsive and helpful during our time there. I would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful family vacation house! Very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. The house also has extra towels and other helpful items (like band aids). It was our first time seeing moose as we watched from the deck a Mama and baby moose eating grass across the street one morning (as close as the distance of a two lane road). We enjoyed the selection of games and videos provided. The host was very easy to communicate with and the furniture was very comfortable.

It fit all of our needs. Great games to play during rainstorms and at night. Side notes: Couldn’t get the fan upstairs to rotate forwards and blow down. It only went backwards. The room would benefit from having a chest of drawers or better places to put suitcases. One stand is not enough.

Very quiet neighborhood and short drive to Grand Lake, CO.

We had an absolutely fabulous time up at Columbine Lake! The Moose Hus was exactly what we thought it would be… perfect! It was clean, cozy, and in an excellent location. We will definitely be back! The owners were fantastic and communicated with us well.

Our family and I had a great time! The cabin was perfect, with a great location to get to and from Grand Lake. This was our second year spending time at Grand Lake and we absolutely love the area and plan to make it an annual summer adventure with our kids!

We enjoyed staying at the house - great location close to Grand Lake, less than 5 minute drive into town/shopping/beach/marina. The house itself is very easy for a moderate-large party, since there are 2 rooms, one with bunks, on the main floor with a bathroom, then one master bed/bath upstairs in a loft area, and one queen bed/bath down, with the garage, and then a main level dining and living area in the front. Sound does not carry much, which is really nice. There were 5 adults and two teens and we had a great time. The 4 stars for check-in is because we were given check in 2 hours later than stated in the listing, and for us that was a big deal due to bringing cooked food and groceries for all of our planned meals. The host did not adjust check-in or check-out hours despite the listing, citing the tight hours of cleaning staff in the area during the summer, which makes sense. She did offer to reimburse us if we had to buy coolers. The host was very quickly responsive to all communication, and the house was clean and easy to access.

The cabin was just as described and worked perfect for our family. They had a very stocked kitchen with a great assortment of everything including cooking essentials, which was a welcome sight. Location is quiet and close to the park entrance.

We had a wonderful time here at this beautiful cabin in a safe community. The cabin was very clean and well stocked in kitchen supplies and really anything you may need during your stay. If you are itching to see wildlife you are likely to see moose. We saw 3 walk right across the street as we sat on the front deck one night all within an hour. We were amazed! Julie was a fantastic host who was super responsive in the few times we reached out. Highly recommend this cabin and host!!!

Place was amazing. Lay out of bedrooms where set up in order that if you need time to get away to rest from family noise you can go to your zone and enjoy it. Julie was very communicative and very helpful. Would recommend to everybody. See you next time

After long days of climbing the mountain. It was relaxing to come back to your home. Everything we needed was there.

This was a perfect mountain getaway nestled in the woods by a lake. The first day there was a moose in the backyard, and the neighborhood was filled with deer and we have frequent wildlife site sightings There were seven people staying in the house, so we had plenty of room to spread out, and everyone had their own bed. This was a great property to have the whole Colorado mountain experience and enjoy a peaceful weekend in the mountains!

This property was clean and organized. Communication with owner was perfect, I was provided with good tips for a comfortable stay. This location was near RMNP, a quaint town of Grand Lake and other beautiful locations.

All family members enjoyed their stay. House was very nice and livable, not a lot of “no” for the toddler. Also very nice to have condiments available for use. We enjoyed the Grand Lake area as well.

We had a relaxing stay. We saw lots of wildlife in the neighborhood to include several moose, deer and a fox! We rented boats at Grand Lake and Lake Granby. Grand Lake has several good restaurants.

The property was well kept and comfortable. All the amenities provided were fantastic! From the well stocked kitchen to the children books. The whole family had a great time!

The cabin was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was a short drive to RMNP, downtown Grand Lake, and various trails and outdoor activities. It was amazing to see the wildlife right outside the front and back doors! Would stay here again without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moose Hus. This is an excellent Grand Lake area home that is exactly as pictured in the listing. The home is a bit older but everything works perfectly and it felt just like taking a trip to your grandparents' happy mountain home. The house is cozy and comfy (the stove works great!) and the rooms were plenty big enough for everyone. The kitchen is really well-equipped and we had everything we needed for the stay. The deck has a very nice view of the mountain range, the roads to get in are good and the location is perfect just off the highway and minutes from town. Julie is a phenomenal host -- excellent communication and very helpful even when we had to adjust our schedule. All of her communication was quick and information was very clear and thorough. Thank you so much!

We snowmobiled and had 7 people in the house. We road from the house to the town trail. The house was comfortable. Not huge but certainly not crowded either. I would stay here again and likely will next winter.
