The Red Lion is a lovely country pub with rooms. The bedroom was a good size and nicely furnished with a spotless big bathroom. The dinner menu had a good range of meals, and my choices of both starter and main were very good. Lovely friendly staff.

It's a small gripe but there isn't anything in the room to put your bag on.

Set in a stunning location this is a beautiful place to stay. Excellent food. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful and went the extra mile to make our staff perfect.

The bedroom only had a small mirror which for a lady always makes life a little difficult. The breakfast box was excellent, but would have preferred a full English.

Food was great, Staff were really pleasant and made us feel welcome. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and the shower was amazing. We definitely will go back.

The breakfast box provided a very good continental selection for us. The room was very modern and comfortable. The welcome was very good. Our room overlooked the car park but we didn't hear any punters leaving the pub.

My husband had to return the pint of beer as it didn't taste right.

Lovely traditional village setting. Dinner was excellent - great traditional food, really well cooked, good service. Breakfast was continental style in the room which we knew about and it was fine. Fresh milk, cereals, croissants and cake along with hot and cold drinks. Cooked breakfasts are served at weekends. The nature of the building means the rooms are compact, although had what looked like a brand new good sized bathroom.

Pretty pub in a lovely village. The staff were great - helpful & knowledgeable. There was a great choice of food on the menu & we all (3 of us) agreed it was a lovely meal. The smoked haddock mousse was amazing! Our room was immaculate & very comfortable. A very good experience.
