This time I stayed in the 3 person room which is in tatami style, I feel like the size of the room is smaller and less luxurious than the 2 person room I stayed in before. This time the dinner I had was the shabu-shabu, the waiter was very busy and didn’t enough man power to serve all the people who dined in at the time.

I have many 5 stars hotel experiences. And this is first time I give one star in the comment (actually they doesn’t even deserve 1 star). I will NEVER EVER come to this “5 stars” hotel again. I spent NTD9000+/night, and I get a room which bathroom is stocked! The water and the soap is all around the floor. And the front desk’s service and attitude is supper terrible! Oh BTW, they claimed they are 5 stars hotel, but no swim pool inside, if you want to have REAL hot spring experience, you need to make a reservation first and take their shuttle bus and go cross the street to their cooperation hot spring spot. Almost forgot one thing. The bathtub in the room is extremely dirty. I even need to clean the bathtub by myself. These terrible services and experiences cost me almost NTD 10,000. If you are SUPER RICH and doesn’t care about the front desk’s attitude and their services and the facilities, welcome to chipen century hotel.

The facility and equipment in hotel are great. Room is extremely clean and comfortable, especially you can have the hot spring in your own tub.

The staff are really busy that we have to wait for a while to get serve.

The view was good enough if they actually assign you to an actual view room. Room service was quick with requests.

Front desk was way understaffed, and everything needed to go through the front desk. So, there was many times your calls didn't get picked up. We booked a room with view. But when we got to our room, it was looking at the towers courtyard next door. We had to remind the staff of our booking to actually get a room with good view. Breakfast was very simple for the grandness decor of the hotel.

Clean facilities with onsite parking.

Walls were quite thin - we could hear the conversations and the TV from adjacent rooms. The property caters to a lot of tour groups so it might not be the best for travelers looking for fewer crowds. The communal hot spring bath on the rooftop was closed for renovation, so only the in-room bathtub was available for a hot spring soak.

The room was spacious and clean. Happy with the facilities at hotel such as fitness center and archery experience. Parking was easy and door staffs were friendly.

Breakfast could have been better for this price. Many items are similar with buffet dinner from the previous night. Pretty disappointed with the egg station, the fried eggs are stacked together didn't look appealing. Also many stuffs were finished by the tour group eating before us, so not many options left. Too bad the rooftop pool was under construction, really wish to try the outdoor hot spring pool.

Nothing. It was a disappointing stay. Hotel’s hot spring pool is under renovation. Although the hotel cooperated with another hot spring place but the quality of that cooperative is not as the price the hotel should have offered.

The buffet was not good at all. It was like any food court. Maybe it is what it is. Do not expect any.

Although you need to be completely naked, I enjoyed their rooftop hot spring. The lighting was just perfect under the moonlight.
