The house was very nice! Right on the beach. No parking lots or streets to cross. Very quiet. The only negative if you would call it that, was the steps. Lots of steps. Still a great place that I would stay at again .

This is the 3rd year that my group has stayed at this property. We love the location and the unit in general.
However, there is a little updating that is needed to this unit.
There was an issue with the back sliding door going out onto the deck. The door was VERY difficult to open last year when we stayed. Due to the fact that we had to pull so hard to open and shut the door, the handle actually came off on our last day on the beach.
We had to go around to the front door to enter and exit the unit. We reported this issue and was told that the track needed to be replaced. This year, unfortunately, the door was still extremely difficulty to open and the only way we had to "lock" the door was to slide a stick in at the bottom of the door from inside. It was very annoying to have to strain so hard to open and close the door.
Also, on the 3rd day of our trip, the water was turned off due to nonpayment. (Notice left by the water department)
The numbers around the knobs on the stove are worn off which makes it difficult to select temp of the eclectic stovetop.
The couches and coffee table very worn.
My group loves this unit and the location, but it seems that there are some updating and management issues that need to be addressed.
Afton has always been easy to contact and quick to respond anytime we have needed her. We hate to complain but hope that someone pays attention to this review, which is meant to help resolve some significate issues with a great property.

This was our first time to Navarre and absolutely loved our time at Dave’s Dreamhouse. So many extras- seasonings, non-perishable food, extra sets of sheets for all beds, and other items that don’t go bad and had been left by other guests. House is as described and viewed in photos. Layout was perfect for our family of 5. If we are ever back in Navarre, we will definitely stay here again!

Our family vacation went amazing. This home was great! It was a perfect location, peaceful beach, clean, and suited our group perfectly. I have nothing but positive things to say. Check in was easy and everything was as shown in the listing. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. We will for sure book again when we return to Navarre Beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful sunrises while drinking coffee on the deck. Gorgeous sunsets with friends while relaxing
on the beach. Great place to enjoy biking, walking, reading a book. or just listening to the ocean. Close proximity to restaurants and fishing pier.

Everything is incredible here! Views can’t be beat, manager is amazing. We wanted for nothing during our stay. Can’t wait to come back next year!

If you’re looking for a place to stay that has every amenity possible, then this is it! From beach towels/toys/chairs to spices for cooking and laundry supplies. If you like to be away from the touristy crowd, you will love it here! So quiet. The welcoming cookies and beautiful bouquet of flowers were the icing on the cake!

This is the second year that my friends and I have stayed at this property. We love this unit and its location. Neither the beach nor the traffic is congested at Dave's. The view is awesome from the back decks and the water was beautiful this year.
The property was very clean. We did have to contact the property manager concerning a small issue with a door handle. However, she was super easy to get in touch with and was eager to help us.
We will be booking this property again. We love it!

So the refrigeraor was out when we got there. The property manager let us know and provided a small refrigerator and a cooler full of ice. It was a little frustrating but we made it work. The refrigerator that was there was fairly new. They tried to get it replaced before we left but just didn’t work out. The condo was great. It had own access to the beach. They had plenty of beach stuff. The home owners gave us a big refund for our inconvenience . Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay. Home was clean and well very stocked. The layout was perfect for 2 families - we had 5 kids ages ranging from 2 to 8. We arrived to beautiful fresh flowers and cupcakes which the kids loved. Location was amazing- right on the beach and close to restaurants. In case anyone is curious- you can get Instacart to the home for anything you forget. Afton was great at communicating with us and made sure we had everything we needed. We brought our own chairs and beach toys but were pleasantly surprised to see the downstairs closet full of chairs, beach toys for the kids and even a wagon. 10/10 recommend this home. Already tried to book it for next year but the dates aren’t available yet. We will be checking back.

From the minute I walked in the door and saw bikes, helmets and sun hats, I was impressed. I went up the steps to the first level and WOW! The view was amazing as was the view from the master bedroom. It was so bright and welcoming and had all the perfect touches. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the management. It was the most stocked place we’d ever been. To Dave and his wife - thank you for letting us make wonderful memories in your beach home.

Best part about this place, the amazing view and proximity to the beach. You could not ask for better.
The Pros for this townhome- I just said one of them. The view! They also supply just about anything a person could need and plus some. Also, the outside patio furniture was a nice feature.
Now, let’s talk about the Cons- My husband is a Facilities Manager for a living. So, this place drove him crazy. It is obvious that the townhome has been remodeled, but despite that it could use a little paint and caulk. Also, just about every bathroom had some kind of issue from loose toilet seats to towel hooks falling off the wall. Also, this place is in need of a good deep cleaning. No excuse for the amount of nasty light switches, dirty baseboards and dust. Especially for what I PAID to clean the place. Also, if you are going to advertise that the unit has beach chairs. Please make sure it actually does. There were 3 half way working beach chairs and the rest were unusable. A family of 8 would be in trouble if they banked on your description of the unit including beach chairs. Lastly, this is not the owners fault, but there is no dining table and chairs except for outside other than bar seating. This makes eating family meals inside difficult.
Would I stay here again. Probably not for the new rental price. They have increased the price since we booked last year. We have already found a newer and larger place for less money a few doors down from this unit.

This property is an amazing location. It was like having our own private beach. Home is well equipped with things you need and enough seating for all our party. This was our first time on Navarre Beach and we loved it!

We loved how close it was to the beach. Having a back patio that steps right out to the beach with a very short walk.
It was on th quieter end of the beach, so with 4 children under the age of 7, it was perfect.
The only issue was it was pricey, with a lot of hidden fees that don’t pop up until the end.
But for a family of 10, it was relaxing

Great location, fabulous deck, well equipped kitchen. The rocking chairs and patio furniture are very nice.
Large bedrooms, good bathrooms. Plenty of space for our teens and us.
Definitely use the dehumidifier! If you do not it gets sticky.
Manager was easy to communicate with and accommodating. We were allow to enter the property as soon as cleaning crew was finished.
House is in need of a deep clean.

Blown away
We have been coming to Navarre for over 25 years. We bring everything and load the cars down because often times the houses just don’t have everything we need. Dave’s Dream was an entirely different story. We over packed for this stay. The kitchen has all the utensils and pans for cooking we needed. The fact the owners don’t just throw everything away that people leave is so helpful. We didn’t have to make all the extra trips to the store like most places require. There were plenty of towels, extra toilet paper, spices that have been left to use, hot water works, list could just go on and on. And of course the house is beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor patio space has been one of the best if you like to gather on the deck in the evenings. We loved this place, we will rent again if we have another small group. Thank you for a great experience!

Great stay!
The property was as described. It was clean and decorated very nicely. There were tons of beach towels in the closets and the kitchen was stocked with spices and adequate cooking utensils. We cooked and stayed in almost every night. It was so relaxing and enjoyable.
There was plenty of space for our group of 7 adults. The downstairs grill, dining area, and shower were AWESOME!
The location of the property was great. There wasn't much traffic on the road, as we were further down from the pier.
The beach area wasn't crowded either. Our group was very pleased with our stay!
Just be aware that your neighbors on either side of the deck, overlooking the beach are very close. Like... You can look them in the eye and say, "Good Morning". That close.
Our neighbors were great, so we had no problems. Just something to be aware of...
We would definitely stay here again!

Our new favorite place!
Just book it! And save yourself hours of packing because this property has everything you need on-site. Chairs, umbrellas, Beach wagon, cooler, sand toys, corn hole, football, crossnet, volleyball, skim boards, floats, life jackets, bikes... everything is already there.
The condo itself was great! The outdoor seating area was our favorite part. We ate lunch and dinner out there every single day... and played cards at night. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. My husband and I have become accustomed to waking up sore when on vacation... but not here, slept great. My SIL said the same thing and was so impressed that she tried to figure out the mattress type.
Navarre is a gem! Quiet and family-friendly... we loved bouncing from beach fun to exploring and fishing the sound. Feel free to sleep in... you don't have to set your tent up at 6am to get a decent spot on the beach... not crowded at all! Can't wait to go back!

This house was great! It was beautiful, had its own boardwalk to the beach, beach chairs and umbrella! Not to mention all the extras inside the house, it made us feel like VIP’s! The house was immaculate! And even decorated for Christmas with a tree and stockings, we loved it! We will definitely stay here again!

A nice place to stay at the beach
This is a nice place to stay for a young family if you are going to Navarre Beach.

Incredible location and views
We stayed at this property with another family and had a wonderful time. The unit was as described, well stocked, in a great location, and comfortable. The beach was not crowded at all and there is plenty of beach front for the number of units in the building.
The only cons:
- Pots and pans were pretty rough (I purchased a couple inexpensive ones and left them there)
- Needed to repeatedly keep an eye on the dehumidifiers and empty them a couple times a day (but they really helped!!)
- In order to cool off the upstairs master bedroom, you have to get it really cold downstairs. The fan is a big help, but it gets really really warm in that bedroom.
Despite the cons we would stay at this unit again because the pros more than make up for it. The sunset views were gorgeous, the porch is spacious, the beds comfortable, the beach toys/supplies were stocked and the shelling was fantastic.

Love that it's a quick walk from the home to the beach! Mornings on the patio were fantastic. The home had all the necessities. We went grocery shopping on our way in, but were pleasantly surprised that we overbought because the property was well stocked. The kid's had a great time and keep asking when we're coming back!
