Bathroom wasn’t clean. Very noisy on the ground floor.

Being put in a room adjacent to meeting rooms and toilets that had doors banging.

Rooms were adequate

Too much to list. No point ordering food, because it never comes, then when you ask for a refund for the salad that i ordered, waited an hour and it still didnt come, the entirety of the staff there tells ‘come back later’. I had to leave an get food elsewhere. Then when I ask for a VAT receipt, it takes a day and an age to get me one, to then be given the wrong order. I eventually got the refund, but wasnt even comped the 1 starter we did receive for the inconvenience. Absolutely poor service. I stay away several days a week for work and if I rated it for the room, then yeah, it’s pretty standard, but the remaining services might as not exist because thats exactly how it felt when I stayed there!

The beds where comfortable

Staff wasn’t friendly at all, got charged 2 times for a drink that was out of date, the chain on the toilet was broke so was making noises for hours straight, the air con didn’t work so the room was far too warm, we put a sign on door to not come into the room as we didn’t need it cleaned however when we came back on night time things had been moved and our quilt was missing, the door was broke so we needed to get 3 new room keys

The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety , in particular the staff were helpful and welcoming.

There was a bit of noise after midnight from other guests.

Selection and quality of breakfast items was brilliant.

We booked the executive double room by spending some extra to have a separate seating area for the evenings (as per room photos). Unfortunatelly we've been accomodated in a regular duoble room with a refridgerator and a coffee machine in it. According to the staff it was a premium room because of that although we did not even needed them. We went to reception next morning and receptionist agreed to our claim and promissed to "make it good" by partial refund at our check out. Unfortunatelly, on our check out day another receptionist was in place and she did not wanted to hear anything about that. She was just claiming that we've been staying in a premium room and they owe us nothing. Our choise of the hotel was also based on the facilities in it. A swimming pool was one of the deciding factors. Again, the swimming pool was not operational due to "some maintenance issue" throughout our stay. The staff have not mentioned anything about that at check-in. So we've left the hotel overpaying for the room we were staying in and not receiving the services we were entitled to. I am an IHG club member and I did not expected anything like that from one of their hotels.

Breakfast good, staff friendly, pool and gym

Gym and pool was dirty. Pool water was cloudy, floors filthy, changing rooms cold and dirty. Fold out bed was uncomfortable. Carpets need a wash. Lift would be helpful.

Good location, decent breakfast. Access to other parts of hotel from outside.

Staff attitude when booking in and bar staff and staff on duty for breakfast were not welcoming. The lady on reception yawned constantly while we were booking in. Price of beer extortionate. A breakfast tray outside one of the rooms remained outside all day yesterday and still there this morning.

Handy location, parking clean comfortable room. Friendly staff.

Facilities dated, broken stair lifts, steam room issue, jacuzzi off.

Property was cheap & fairly central for what we needed

It looks really run down from the outside, could really do with a revamp.

Staff friendly

Room old, tv didn't work, room card didn't work 4 times, in the end didn't have one and staff had to use mastercard. Was wrongly checked in and had to move rooms!! Worst thing was paying £104 and the mattress VERY uncomfortable, you could feel springs and a big hole in the middle... awful

room & breakfast were ok (if a bit far from reception)

Door card could have been programmed for the whole time instead of just the first day

Great shower, gym small but very adequate, wifi fast, bed was broken on my husbands side so he didn’t sleep well at all, but my side was fine. But it was the only room they had left :( easy parking included for free. Breakfast was nice.

Very spacious, clean room. Huge bed with liads of pillows. Had a fridge with water, Pepsi & chocolate supplied. Loved the bathrobes & slippers.

The only negative I would comment on is that we would have liked more coat hangers. Other than that, everything was great.

Staff was welcoming and friendly, cleanliness and lovely hotel atmosphere, free safe parking.

Room was tiny, The air conditioning was broken so they had to bring a portable heater to our room. There are Spiders everywhere - All along the windows whereever you look!

Convenience

The bar manager was covering reception too and was stretch but he maintained a great customer focus and rapport. No restaurant but allowed to order takeaway.

The facilities are starting to look dated.

Everything was great rooms are fantastic value for money, everything you would need and very clean. Facilities were great gym and swimming pool a great bonus. Staff were all professional and welcoming.

Breakfast was a wee bit pricey for my liking, and the beer also.

Dirty . Understaffed no bar service no late food . Very expensive as price hiked for Leeds fest wouldn’t mind that if it was clan and everything open .
