Townhouse was as advertised. Super modern and clean. Large tandom 2 car garage.we were able to park truck inside and unload beach toys and not bring them in house. Kitchen had all cooking utensils for eat in meals. Only con is stairs going up to second floor 1 1/2 times normal staircase height. Convenient to downtown and lake. Great place and would rent again

Very comfortable and clean home. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen were very nice and just what we needed. Downtown McCall is just a walk away. The area is quiet and lovely. The bear theme throughout is perfect for a mountain town in the woods. We will be back.

Comfortable condo with a good feel. We loved watching movies by the fireplace, although cable TV would have been nice. It was awesome to have a garage large enough to get our 2 cars out of the snow. Great location. We walked to the lake and into town every day. We'll be back.

This venue was perfect for our purpose which was to attend our son’s wedding. We were a family of 5. The bear den was very clean and well stocked with dishes and appliances. We often took a short walk into town for dining and shopping. I would highly recommend The Bear Den.

The bear den at Payette lake is a great place to stay , it was very clean and the house set up was very good with a lot of amenities . Very quiet location . it was only a 5 min walk to the lake . I would stay here again .

We had a wonderful time at the Bears Den! Very very clean and organized, beautiful interior, and very close to the downtown beach (maybe a five minute walk)! We drove around Payette Lake, did an evening cruise on the lake, kayaked on the lake…and replenished our caloric needs at Ice Cream Alley! Highly recommend this location!!

We enjoyed our stay at The Bear Den. The house was very spacious and all 3 bedrooms had great separation. The beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to downtown McCall. We would definitely stay again.

The location of this property was awesome. It was an easy walk to downtown and close to the lake. It was so nice to be able to park two cars in the garage. We have a dog but decided last minute to not bring him. After we arrived, I felt I could have brought him and been comfortable. It was clearly a pet lover's home and had dog beds and areas set up for the dog. They had tons of linens and extra places to sleep (even though we didn't need them). They had great games and movies to watch if Netflix or other streaming services weren't an option. The kitchen was very well stocked from utensils to food staples. There were only two small things that I would comment that were a problem. There was a small pile of dog poop on the patio - easily missed by a cleaning company and the bathtub needs to have a good scrub/disinfect with the jets. The departure requests were easy and not too onerous to do. I would absolutely rent this place again.

The property manager took a little too long to answer us about parking our snowmobile trailer so we could make plans as well as when one of my kids got sick and I had to cancel, no response from matt in 48 hours however when I called him he answered immediately. Place was super clean and great but fridge drawers need cleaned up.

The Bear Den was perfect for an escape from holiday and COVID chaos and semester final exams. It is a lovely place and was very clean. It was well accommodated for our dog. Everything was as expected. We would love to stay again sometime.

We really enjoyed this home and location! We didn't figure out the fireplace but never asked for extra help either... We had a great time!

Fun house to rent! Walking distance to the lake! Great little town. We would rent again!

Due to Covid we were in a bind to find some where just to get out of the house. What a blessing in disguise this condo was. From the moment you step inside to the moment you leave this condo has something for everyone. My partner is a fisherman so his five minute walk to the lake at 6:30 in the morning was perfect. We cooked every meal in their fully stocked kitchen and then watched Netflix while we were waiting for the hot evening hour to calm down so we could grill out on the maintained BBQ and enjoy the porch. The best part was this condo is that it is dog friendly. My fur baby goes everywhere with me as he also loved the second story porch. It was nice to be able to pull the rig into the garage for security at night as well. The only con I had is the stairs we kind of slippery so maybe another strip to help with shoe grab. I would actually pick up my dog to go up and down the stairs as he slipped a little the first time going up. We will definitely be back.

This property could be 5 stars but they need to clean the rugs that were full of dog hair and warn guests that there is no live TV.
