Breakfast quite ordinary

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and there was a nice atmosphere in the eating area. The staff we met were lovely and friendly and helped us out when we asked. The room was spotless and perfect for what we needed.

Tomatoes need a little more cooking bacon quite hard.

Great location as we were spending our time in York city only, everything we needed was in walking distance.

The breakfast room did get very busy, as expected ( we were told this on arrival and, I believe it mentions this on the information sheet) but, friends that we were with could not get a table and had to carry their breakfast through the lobby to the bar area and eat their meal there ☹

Good location, easy walk to all main visitor attractions and sites. Easy check in and check out and nice breakfast with lots of options available. Family room was large enough. Good soundproofing, clean bathroom.

Hallway on ground floor had a damp, musty, wet carpet smell but no obvious sign of where it was coming from. Smell did not go in to the rooms so once inside it was fine. Carpets looked clean but when picking something off the floor there was alot of dust and fluff etc which should have been picked up easily by a decent vacuum. Also noticed some dried blood on one of the curtains the following morning when opening them (reported to reception who said they would get it seen to immediately).

Located 10 minutes from the centre. Staff are lovely. Rooms are lovely and clean.

The beds were a bit too hard for us. But you can’t please everyone with everything.

The room was great, super spacious and the bed was a really decent size as well as comfortable. It was easy to get to on foot from the train station.

Terrible breakfast - the worst I’ve had in a very long time (in a hotel) Had a drink at the bar and asked them to put it on my bill was told quite frostily that I had to pay a £50 deposit - what the heck is that about?? Huge pile of mattresses in the lobby - is there nowhere else to store them? No rear entrance to the hotel if you are walking from the station you have to walk all the way round the block - v inconvenient

De zeer gunstige locatie met alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. De ruime, moderne en nette kamer met mooi uitzicht op o.a. de stadsmuur. De rust.

A localização sem dúvida é um dos pontos altos. Fica perto da estação de trem e também do centro histórico da cidade. É possível fazer tudo a pé. Além disso, a equipe do hotel é realmente muito boa, cordial e prestativa. Tivemos problemas com barulhos que vinham de um quarto ao lado. Após a equipe do hotel solicitar, sem sucesso, um comportamento mais educado da família que estava gerando os transtornos, prontamente nos realocaram em outro quarto. Equipe realmente fantástica.

O hotel é todo novo, parece ter sido reformando. Os tamanhos dos quartos são surpreendentemente grandes para padrões europeus. No entanto, o tratamento acústico das instalações não parece ser muito efetivo.

Excelente atencion en recepcion. La comida de el primer piso a pago, de muybuena calidad. El desayuno espectacular, mucha variedad, muy limpio y bien presentados los alimentos. Mucho para elegir dulce y salado

La ventana

Perfect location, 5 minutes from station, 10 minutes to centre of York. Spotlessly clean, lovely shower and a smashing complimentary breakfast.

The only tiny niggle was the freeview on tv loses signal.
