Good for dinner and breakfast was excellent
A full English would have been an improvement but the food I had at breakfast was excellent with the poached eggs the best I have tasted

Breakfast was not included at this restaurant with rooms, but it was available and excellent and fair value.
We had been led to believe that the restaurant would available on Booking.com. But we were told on arrival that they were not open Monday or Tuesday evening. Was this an error on the part of Booking.com
The restaurant could have been available had Booking.com'sinformation been correct

If you come here you have to book into the restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious! No fuss just amazing value and wonderful quality. The room was super comfortable and we didn’t have any issue with noise from traffic on the road to the front. Accommodating owners! Would highly recommend!

The choice for breakfast was varied and imaginative. We particularly appreciated that we paid precisely for what we actually ordered for breakfast.
The bristo dinner menu was extremely good.
it was unfortunate - but couldn't be helped - that the accommodation is on a busy road.
The car parking was limited.

Stayed 14th July for one night. Brilliant all round! Extremely friendly hosts. Facilities outstanding would definitely stay again and recommend!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was big. Although there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room itself, the small communal kitchen was very well equipped and stocked, including freash milk, biscuits, and sparklig water.
We booked two dinners, and it was an enjoyable experience both times. The food and wine were great, and the service was very friendly.
We only had one breakfast, but that was because we did not realise it's a really good a la carte selection.
A wardrobe and a breakfast menu in the room would be helpful.

It was a really nice location and the staff were really friendly. Room was really nice with a good bathroom. Bed was comfortable and the amenities was nice, especially the biscuits!
The only thing that we didn't like was that the room became noisy in the morning due to the kitchen being right underneath us that woke us up in the morning.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was a good size, very comfy bed and lovely, modern wet room. Delicious scrambled eggs for breakfast.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a good shower and a little communal cupboard with unlimited tea, coffee, sparkling water and biscuits. The property is about 15 minutes walk from the station and five minutes from the town centre.
For some reason I expected breakfast to be included in the price (I guess I didn't read the small print). Each item was priced separately and it would have been quite expensive to have the "full English" you normally get in these sort of establishments.

The hosts were fantastic. Cancelled trains meant I would be arriving past midnight so my mum called ahead and Tracey called me directly to reassure me that she'd leave the key and put the heating on in my room. She also gave me directions on how to get to the place from Sherborne Station. And when I arrived earlier than expected, I called again and Paul told me how to find the key to my room etc. The room itself was big and nicely furnished, everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfy.
It was a little pricey for just me for one night but it is certainly reasonable for couples or two people in one room.

Location perfect, very clean, bed and linen very comfortable. Bathroom modern and plenty hot water and large. Hot drinks 24/7. Plenty of plugs and charger points.
Unfortunately restaurant closed for all food.

Rooms were very comfy. Tracy upgraded me at no extra cost as they were at a slightly quieter patch. Breakfast was really outstanding, so all in all, very happy.
