Joanne and Rory gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Gave guidance on local amenities, parking and dining. Lent us a brolly as it was raining. Close to beach and pier.

Lovely property - very clean with personal touches from the owner. Quality cooked breakfast, taken from our orders the previous day, plus there were extras to choose from in the dining room. Close walk to the beach and pier as well as a couple blocks walk to restaurants and main street. Comfy bed. Thank you for providing such a lovely stay! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

There was only one type of power plug outlet which I, somehow, didn't have a converter for (the large 3 prong type). With 2 USB ports in the room for 3 of us - mobile phones, smart watch, ipad, power bank - we were a bit short. I had a hire car so was able to do some charging during the day, but extra usb ports or another type of power outlet would be helpful. Other places seem to have one outlet of the 2 round hole (EU) type in hotel rooms these days hence why I didn't have the converter. I admit I could also make sure I get the converter, so more of a heads up for other international travellers to be more organised than me. I didn't know there was a fan in the cupboard until the 2nd night, so if it's hot, maybe just a tip from the owner to let us know it's there. Might be in the guide book, but once in bed with the lights out I couldn't read it haha. That's it, wonderful place!!

The design of the whole place is amazing. It has a sandy beachy sunny vibe that you only get on the Mediterranean sea .

No parking and our room was at the rear of the house on the top floor.it was very noisy from the traffic the fair and worst of all the gulls .

Our host was extremely friendly, she was available for any issues you had immediately and gave suggestions on places to visit etc. The b&b was very close to the beach, within a 5 minute walk. The decor is modern, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

There was no parking at the property. There were some bays on the road but these were often full and there weren’t many options nearby for a good price to pay for 24 hours. This would be a good place to visit if you’re coming not by car or if you’re prepared to pay more to park. The host did send ahead a map with parking beforehand. Also, you either have to pay for breakfast for every day or none at all - we would have liked to have breakfast for one or two of the days.

Breakfast delicious, friendly host, beautiful room, very clean and spacious, the bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud, definitely recommend :-)

Only downside being parking, bays available on the adjacent road for a very affordable price

Breakfast was excellent overall extremely good value for money I would definitely stay again(sorry for the late response been extremely busy)

Bathroom was a little chilly

Joanne the proprietor is friendly and very welcoming. Very Covid safe with small but very effective procedures. Great breakfast with plenty of choice and great location for both the beach and main shopping areas.

Breakfast OK but I felt rationed with one slice of toast. I could have been asked if I had wanted 2 slices.Had to ask for another. It could be argued that I had to put 2 slices on the form we had to fill in. Location OK.

When I had trouble getting my key from the box on the wall that had a combination lock I though the instructions were not clear. Apparently there were 2 little levers that had to be pulled down simultaneously. I had to call the owner for help as I have been trying to get my key for 30 minutes. She was very cross and short with me. I had obviously disturbed her evening. Her attitude could be better. Pages of do's and don'ts. I understand this with Covid safety but to be told not to come to breakfast in pyjamas! I am sorry if guests have done that in the past.!

Great location, steps from Paignton waterfront. Very friendly owner. Whole place was very clean with good Covid safety measures. Beds were comfortable (but my husband couldn't fit in the bed as he is over 6 foot and the bed had a high frame at the bottom - he slept in the bed set up for our son).

Parking is really tricky, although we managed to get a spot and it is £2.50 for 24 hours. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. We felt that the price was very high, but that is unfortunately the impact of Covid.
