The hotel was very well positioned for the event I was attending, the breakfast was great and the service of all staff was perfect. Unfortunately I had to travel alone as my wife was too ill to go and we had to shorten our original booking to four instead of seven nights. As it was non refundable booking it made it an expensive trip.

Decor was tired

Good location, central and close to the beachfront. Great Sea View from our window. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable with clean linen etc. The room and shower room were clean and there was parking for our car on the premises.

The only thing we were not happy with was the bathroom/wetroom as it was too small. Could barely move and the shower cubicle was tiny. My husband battled to get into it and had to stand in one place as he couldn't move. Other than that, it was clean. I think a lesser fee should be charged for this room.

Nice relaxed atmosphere,nothing was too much trouble,Only thing i would say it was between 9am-10am could offer it a little earlier maybe.

Maybe milks coffee sugar for the rooms somewhere so you dont have to bother the host.

Conveniently located on the sea front, steps from the beautiful red sands Paignton beach and two minutes from the Pier and the Harbour. Free parking. Comfortable bed and room, very clean and pleasant and containend in working order anything I needed. The landlady and staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a great relaxing stay and was feeling at home.

Booked a double room with a patio but for £70 I got a single room with a single bed and no offer of a refund. The bed was very uncomfortable The shower is in the middle of the room literally with a shower curtain which didn't have any hot water oh and its separate to the toilet which also doesn't have a door either, so that's just lovely cleaning in a corner sink. There was no hot water ran for 15mins and got nothing apart from a damp room. For a hotel I shouldn't expect you to hear every time someone moves in the building throughout the night. All round not happy in the slightest, never again!
