Good comfortable hotel .. great staff

Far away from beach and wasn’t fully communicated in the brochure and hotel description . Pool wasn’t good and it’s upkeep wasn’t great with people entering in pool with full clothes and not swimming attire.

The staff were lovely and did their best to accommodate the guests.

Firstly I never write reviews as most hotels I stay in are good and no need to write positive nor negative comments. However I felt the need to write a review on this one! The hotel is tired and rundown and needs a revamp. The rooms were ok. Expensive for what you get. I expected more from a Novotel hotel. The pool area needs work. Lots of kids and the space is not what you would call inviting or relaxing. They don’t wash the pool towels and they stink. Pool bar stuff are lovely. The bedding, linen, towels etc. all need to be replaced. They are beyond life. The rooms need a good deep clean. The gym is old and nothing works. The hotel is extremely noisy and found guests to be running to and from rooms at all hours of the night. screaming, slamming doors etc. Impossible to get a sleep. The buffet breakfast that was offered was a standard buffet breakfast and most morning it was so busy it was like a zoo. the "Head Chef" come around each morning and asked each table how was the food. For the first couple of morning i said "fine"! However in truth, it was cold and horrible. When i gave him this feedback he didn’t like it and proceeded to get me "Hot" food that he put in the microwave. This happened each morning for the rest of my stay, not that i asked for it. Each morning i continued to tell him that the food on the buffet was cold however he continued to dispute this as he had put my plate through the microwave. I did advise him that having cold bacon and chicken sausages would make someone sick. He didn’t want feedback he just wanted to prance around looking like a “Head Chef” serving average cold buffet food. I don’t have anything positive to say about this hotel.

Location in very good and room size is good

Breakfast was repeated everyday and taste was not upto mark
