The pictures really don’t show how beautiful the marsh view is! We just loved relaxing in the large screened porch, watching and listening to all the birds!
The kitchen had a large center island, dishwasher, countertop microwave, huge refrigerator and included a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. The master bed was very comfy.
There were plenty of streaming options available for watching favorite shows but the living area couch and armchairs were a bit worn and are ready for an upgrade.
It was a great stay and we will definitely return!

Our 2 weeks at charming Periwinkle Place was very enjoyable and relaxing. Great views from the screen porch for coffee in the morning and boat watching in the evening. Nice space for outdoor cooking. Our dog enjoyed the fenced-in yard and watched the birds from the deck. The spacious kitchen is full of quality cookware and new appliances. King size bed is extremely comfortable - one of the best we have experienced in many VRBOs over the years.
The neighborhood is very quiet and great for long walks or a bike ride. We had a lovely route through town to get to the Spanish Moss Trail. The house is close to restaurants and shops in downtown Beaufort.
We loved this property and hope to stay again!

This has now become our #1 favorite place to stay. The property & grounds were amazing. The neighborhood is so quiet & peaceful. Whenever I had to call property mgmt. the reps were very friendly & helpful. Convenient shops. We can't praise this place enough. Can't wait to book it again!

Perfect place for our girl’s getaway weekend. The pictures don’t do it justice in any way, the view is unbelievable. And the hosts were so thoughtful, down to the bed linens and quality of the towels. We can’t wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It's very comfortably furnished with a well-equipped kitchen and well-maintained. The house was immaculate when we checked in. This home is in a great location, very convenient to downtown Beaufort and Port Royal. The property management company (Natural Retreats) was very quick to respond to our questions and stayed in close touch via text prior to our arrival. They provided a nice package of amenities for the bathrooms and the kitchen. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay when supporting any event on MCRD Parris Island. It allowed easy access to the base and to all of downtown Beaufort. Completely happy with the home.

Convenient location, peaceful neighbourhood, amazing view of marsh and river, clean house and pool, thoughtful pool toys, nice touch of toiletries and kitchen cleaning packages. Everything was perfect! I would highly recommend this rental to everyone visiting Beaufort.

The house is perfectly appointed with all that you need.
The kitchen is perfect with a large gas cooktop for those chefs.
The screened back porch is perfect.
The pool was a very nice treat for all of us.

A quant, clean, and comfortable spot
We enjoyed a short visit in Beaufort. Periwinkle place was quant, clean, and a great location for a short walk to town.

Just Perfect
This house was just perfect for us and our pets. We could walk to beautiful pigeon point park with the dogs. We also went to downtown Beaufort for dinner, a short 5 minute drive. The house was clean and well equipped. We will ne back.

Relaxing Getaway
Comfortable house overlooks marshlands with delightful variety of waterfowl! Delicious seafood, southern charm, and beaches are all around. This is our second stay and look forward to next time!

Check in was easy...just show up at the house. Property was clean, well-maintained, well located, and very cozy. Beautiful sunrise views from the screened-in porch looking over the river/ICW and marsh. Fenced in backyard perfect for kids or pets. Ample parking for a boat (bring a boat)!

Quiet and Comfortable
Online representation was pretty accurate. Overall the home was clean and comfortable, which is not always the case with vacation rentals. A couple of minor maintenance issues, which were handled. Huge backyard great for dogs.

Great Beaufort Stay
We stayed here (2 couples and a dog) for five nights and enjoyed our stay.
Highlights -
Easy check-in process and very clean upon arrival
Covered screened in patio with lounge furniture and heater
Beautiful view in the backyard and completely fenced in for the dog
Large kitchen, great for cooking
Great neighborhood - short drive to downtown Beaufort
Comfortable king size bed
(Second bedroom with twin beds was quite small compared to king size room, but still comfortable enough)
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to this house if we travel back to the area.

Wonderful Property
Great location. Constant communication with property manager prior to arrival. Screened in back porch was amazing, quiet neighborhood, clean property. Only issues we had were that the ice maker on fridge wasn’t working and we picked up steaks to grill one night but the grill outside didn’t work very well, only the back burner worked. I also called property manager 1st night to see if we could use the patio heater. I was told they would check with the owner and get right back to me, that never happened. Overall, great property and we’ll probably stay there again.

Beaufort Private Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Periwinkle Place. The location was convenient to restaurants and Hunting Island Beach. The privacy of the house/Covid 19 was our main reason for renting but the house exceeded our expectations. We would like to rent again in the future.

Pool was fantastic!
Due to Covid, we were looking for a property that we could arrive and hang out most of the trip! The pool was a fantastic option! While we found the very late check-in time (after 5pm) and very early checkout (by 9am) cuts the trip short, it worked out. The house is well decorated and in a cute neighborhood! Super close to downtown and a short trip to grocery stores.

Anniversary getaway
This was the perfect cottage to escape for a long weekend, celebrating our first year anniversary. The property was close to town, the backyard was fenced in and large enough for our dog to enjoy the stay, and the deck, porch, grill, fire pit and, of course, pool gave us a great place to enjoy all day long, with a great view overlooking the lowcountry. We’d book again and recommend this property to anyone.
