Breakfast very bad!!! This hotel (by Marriott), we were very disappointed…cleaning not very good

We booked this hotel on a busy weekend and had a wonderful time! Our room got upgraded to a room with a huge balcony overlooking the street which was awesome! It was a perfect location with easy access to all of the stockyards areas. Stopped in at the bar at the end of the night and it has a great view of both downtown and the stockyards! Highly recommend this hotel!

Nice location. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars including comedy mothership.

Parking is $45 per night. Very slow Wi-Fi and the lady who checked us in was quite rude for the first 10 minutes. Then after that she was at least approachable.

The room was clean and large, breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the upstairs lounge and bar. Easy walk to stockyard. Pleasant stay.

Could hear all the street traffic that cruises on the weekend.

Great location for the Stockyards. I liked the relaxing rooftop sitting area next to the bar. Large suites, clean and modern. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.

A little bit of a challenge parking the car at check-in (before I had a parking permit for the car park) as the 15 minute check-in spaces were full.

Within walking distance for everything we wanted to do. Great location.

Incredible staff, super happy and willing to help! A beautiful rooftop area, with lovely food. Room was very spacious and clean. Location was great, only a 2 minute walk to the stockyards. Felt very safe at the accommodation.

A little pricey

Rooms were large 2 double beds and located within walking distance of the stockyards with the added bonus of breakfast included. Staff were super friendly and approachable.

Pool was adequate but a larger pool would have been been great. I feel this hotel was more geared to business stays than leisure but this wasn’t an issue and would stay again.

Breakfast was good but had to be reheated

Rooms were very nice. Bathroom was very well designed. Nice lobby and great rooftop terrace and restaurant. The location is unbeatable!

During our entire stay, the room wasnt cleaned once. Breakfast could have used a few more choices of food.

Location…. Great breakfast! Big tv…comfortable bed. Loved there was a snack section if desired.

The microwave didn’t work. Called up front but maybe busy. Nobody came. The light didn’t go off above coffee maker. Maintenance came and moved something behind the furniture it was connected to .. kept it off. Maybe why the microwave didn’t work? The pool area …. suggest an upgrade to it. Looks appealing online but not in person.

Staff were very friendly and helpful- absolutely faultless. Location was quite near stockyards.

Room smelt stale. Grubby looking carpet. Just didn’t feel clean. Though it may very well have been-just that smell and general atmosphere of grubbiness. It was a bit depressing. Downstairs bar a bit soulless - completely empty at night . Location was convenient for stock yards but overlooking busy road. There was nothing to entice us to stay on the environs of the hotel. Owing to our discomfort about the room we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on breakfast which was included. While it was a cheaper option in stock yards I regretted not having booked drover hotel, twice the price but more than twice as nice. It’s ok for a place to sleep near stock yards but not much else. Rooftop bar is there also I should say and this looked ok-very busy at night. Pool looked a bit murky so didn’t use it. The photo that is used in booking. Com is very enticing. However we were disappointed. I hate leaving bad reviews and it has to be said that there are good points -esp the staff-but in our opinion it’s fine for one night to sleep. If you’re looking for the full good hotel experience this won’t fulfil your expectations.

Great location, clean and friendly facility!

Breakfast was clean and well-presented, but too light for my appetite. I would recommend replacing some items with waffles (Texas-shaped in particular). Considering this hotel is in the heart of the Historic stockyards, this would definitely add value to the overall experience.
