Loved this property! It was so clean, and impeccably designed. It was thoughtfully curated with everything you could possibly need whether traveling for business or vacation. We were there over thanksgiving and were asked to bring desserts for the family holiday—for 35 people, lol—but cooking in this kitchen is a delight!! All of the cookware is quality, and the utensils are ample. The location is incredible—half a block to the capitol and 3 blocks to downtown. We walked every day in this beautiful and safe neighborhood, full of affluent, historic homes and museums! Perhaps the best part was communicating with David—he was lovely to work with and very kind and understanding. It is nice when property owners are so accessible but never impinge on your privacy, it really feels like you are staying in your own home. We were sad when the place we usually stay in SLC decided that they were no longer going to offer short term rentals, but it was a blessing in disguise, because we found this amazing new place to stay! We will definitely book again, and encourage our friends and family to do the same! Thanks for a wonderful holiday!!

This was the perfect spot for us to have access to a conference and fun downtown. My only complaint would be parking was tight a couple of times when the neighbor had parked first.

The property was exceptionally clean, and well stocked. They went the extra mile to ensure the stay was wonderful. Fantastic location to head downtown. We also enjoyed walking to the Capitol building. David went out of his way to reach out after we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed. Checkout was really easy. I really cannot say enough good things about the stay. Hope to stay again soon.

This was the perfect house for my family. Great location! The house is beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. We all had our own rooms which were very comfortable. But what was great was the communication and helpfulness from the owners. Since we were there for a lacrosse tournament (and being from another state), we didn't have any chairs, an ice chest or umbrella (it was over 90 degrees while we were there) needed for a 2-day tournament, so i called the owner on a whim to see if they had anything in the house we could use... he actually came to the house, got everything we asked for out of the garage and let us borrow them! This was a huge help to us and saved us money having to buy all this for just 2 days! Also, we lost connection to the WiFi twice, and came over to help re-connect after not having any luck trying to fix over the phone. Lost connection again the next morning (not good when husband is trying to work before leaving for the day), so while we were away, they actually purchased a new router/modem and installed it, so when we came home it was working and never had a problem again! You can tell they care so much about their house and go above & beyond to make their renters feel at home! Highly recommend!!!

This is a great convenient property to down town Salt Lake City and the capitol area. Renting the property was easy and efficient. The property is well cared for. Kitchen well stocked, and plenty of clean linens.

Beautiful property and great location. Very comfortable and well appointed. We had a small issue with shower control in upstairs bath, but owners got on it in a few hours. Highly recommend this beautiful property!!

Everything you need is just blocks away. Checking in and checking out were very easy and convenient. We skiied multiple mountains and really enjoyed being centrally located to everything. The house is beautifully decorated and was very nice to have it easily accessible from the back

This is just a really cool location and everything here is top notch from the kitchen utensils to the luxury bathrooms it was just a great experience. I can’t think of a single thing that I would ask to be different. All the furnishings are modern and everything in great working order. I also really appreciated how quiet it was here. I’ll definitely rent this place again!

The house has a lot of character. There were no details left undone. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again. It’s next to downtown and close to many restaurants. Very centralized to get to most places in 30 minutes or less. Communication was excellent and prompt. We had an issue with one of the TVs which I advised the owner and when we got back from our day out it was fixed. Couldn’t ask for more. Plus I honestly cannot emphasize enough how comfortable we felt there. It was really a home away from home.

My family was here for two nights to explore Salt Lake City on our way further north. The house is clean and well-appointed and communication with the owner was good. We recommend it. Travelers should be aware that the neighbors are apparently sensitive to noise, which was fine for us, but might be a problem if you are planning a loud gathering. Also, it is useful to have a car as the house is in a hilly area (although we enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood!). The view from the state house is impressive.

The house was so comfortable, clean, neat with fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Perfect for 2 families, each had a floor to themselves. The location was convenient for SLC trip if you prefer walking through downtown.

Very poor a/c system. Closer door off. Needs a more complete guide book for restaurants etc would be helpful

I cannot say enough about the location of this property. It was minutes from the Capitol and about half a mile from downtown. You could walk to restaurants, shops, and sites. There was off street parking as well, which was a big plus. My husband and I stayed with four adult children and there was plenty of room for all. The house was clean and very up to date. I would most definitely stay here again. There is a high deposit, higher than stated on the site. We got it back quickly after our stay, but it was a lot of money to put out initially. That would not deter me from staying here, though.

We stayed at Capitol Hill for 3 nights, we were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids, it was the perfect location and size for our needs. The place is absolutely beautiful and spotless! David is an amazing host, he really thought about all the essentials you could need. The entire process was seamless. I would highly recommend this place. The location cannot be beat if you are looking to be in Downtown SLC. We had such an amazing time and I would absolutely stay there again!

What a great place and great vacation. Stayed with the family so my son could tour The University of Utah. Clean and beautiful in a great location. Would highly recommend!

Very nice 4BR house! It is beautiful inside. Owners were very responsive to any questions or issues we had. Other than the Internet going down (not their fault) the stay was great. We were here for a convention and the center is an easy 15 minute walk. I will warn you though, going down is easy, coming back up is a bit more challenging because this house is up the hill near the Capital. Which by the way is a 5 minute walk and a must see both inside and out. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance or parking downtown is FREE for the first TWO hours and only a couple of bucks an hour after. We didn't didn't get to do a lot of sightseeing, but I did drive up to ENSIGN PEAK Nature Park. Its maybe a 10 minute drive from here and up behind the Capital building. Its a great view of the valley and the city. Check it out. Oh, if you are a fan of the Bitch'in Rides show, Kin Dig It is about 20 mins away and they do shop tours on FRIDAYS only and they are like five bucks. Go on their website and book your tour, they only take 8-10 an hour. Tours are on the hour. Even if you are not a car junkie, its an amazing tour to see what they can do to a car. ENJOY! :)

This rental was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. No complaints from our group of 6. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. I’d definitely stay here again if I find myself back in SLC.

I stayed here with my family of 8. We were a short walk to Temple Square, City Creek Mall, the Pioneer Museum, and the Capitol building. Driving wasn’t an option for us and Uber can be expensive with a crowd, so we were very grateful to have a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Such a great place that is very private and quiet. The interior is amazing with the most up to date and beautiful touches. We will definitely stay here again . Owners are responsive when you you questions calling from the store about items in the kitchen, they are great owners and have done an outstanding job with this listing.

The location was lovely for walking within the downtown core. The place is very well kept with four well appointed bedrooms and living space. It suited the four couples in our party nicely. The owners were very accommodating and extended the check out time as one couple in our party was flying out later in the day. Thank you!

David and Jake did a wonderful job with this house. They thought of everything! We were supposed to have 4 adults (but 2 bailed at the last minute) but this house would have been very comfortable with all 4. Everything was clearly carefully thought out and planned. It's within walking distance to everything (just beware... it's a steep walk back from downtown!) This might be one of my favorite vacation houses I've stayed in. If I ever find myself back in SLC, I'm definitely trying to stay here again!

Our second time to stay at this nice home. Plenty of space for 4 women for 6 days. Would have loved to book again, but the price nearly doubled for next year.

Great house near to the Capitol and downtown Salt Lake - as well as running trails! Nicely updated duplex with spacious rooms. Laundry was a bonus!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Clean, comfortable, everything you need, kitchen well stocked, even soap and shampoo provided. Not a thing overlooked. We were able to walk to the Conference Center and Temple Square easily. And being next to the Capitol was pretty awesome too. A great location and a great property.
