The location is absolutely great, and the famous traditional market is right behind the hotel.

The room was nice despite being a relatively older hotel in Taipei One staff in gym/ pool was really helpful

Two out of the 7 staffers that I had contact with have made me felt unwelcome as a guest. Making a reservation via booking make you ineligible for the 7 hours extension of stay that the hotel provides to guests book via their own system.

Staff is very friendly and helpful (if you arrive in a taxi or with a driver...) . Room is spacious and nicely furnished. Breakfast is awesome.

Arriving with my own car I was diverted to the parking lot without asking where I was going or if I was staying at the hotel = no one picked up my luggage or offered assistance and going from the underground parking to the reception area is not convenient at all if you have suitcases.

-The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. -The courtyard area was delightful. -Pastries both for breakfast and in the bakery were lovely. -Pool was nice and clean. -Gym looked very good, although didn’t have the time to use it. -Spa treatment was exceptional. -Room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. -Ya Ge restaurant was very pleasant, with attentive staff and nice food! -Breakfast service was good with a decent selection of choices to suit all palates!

-The location is absolutely fine but little to do in the immediate vicinity... although MRT fairly close by.
